I'm trying to mess with my layout on my Kingsaver, just tweaks. I'm following this video (http://www.listokei.com/keymapping/) and this post (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=61588.msg1439657#msg1439657).
I figured out how to load the hex in flip but I don't know how to generate a hex file from the program from TrueCustom listed on Listokei's site.
When I try to save the file that works but I don't see an outputted hex file. When I download the hex file from nubbinator's thread and try to overwrite it, the hex file disappears.

If I try to load in the hex file unaltered, I see these errors:

I'm supposed to choose ATMega32U4 as the device right?
The listokei video also tells me to update the driver if you see ATMm32U4DFU has a warning sign. I try to but this happens:

I'm running Windows 7. What am I doing wrong?
Solution:
Ok I figured it out. I accidently put something on the left "GUI" or windows position which seems to mess with the program since the board is WKL. I didn't realize it. Now it's working and the GUI is outputting a hex.
Nubbinator's guide is the one to follow and I need to be more careful with details.
