OK dude this is what the Gateway is rocking for switches and keycaps:
I am not personally interested in it, but those do have a good reputation with draftsmen and graphic artists because of all the programmable keys.
$75 seems high, I think I sold a couple in the $30-$35 + shipping range, but it was a few years ago.
Thanks for the advice and the usage info; We've got some more of them and I'll be sure to use that in the descriptions. If it doesn't sell I'll see about dropping the price down, but I don't have total control over pricing. $75 is high in my opinion too, frankly, but people seem to pay that for them, so, y'know, whatever. I mean, there's no way I'd pay $300 for what in my opinion is a castrated Model M, but those SSKs seem able to fetch stupid money. If I was going to spend $300 on a tiny keyboard, I'd go in for one of those new Model Fs that somebody (here?) got produced, which isn't a bad price considering it's basically the same as a Topre HiPro yet they got a keyboard that hasn't been made in 22 years into production again, even if for a smallish run.
I've seen what we have in stock, and some of them are absolute gold, there's a telecoms-industry board full of Cherry blacks that I can't decide if I want for myself yet, a Sanders Associates 720 graphics terminal keyboard (missing a bunch of whole keyswitches, though
), so on and so forth. I'll post more here whenever something I think the assembled Geeks might have an interest in is listed. Was it one of us who took the PC AT Model F?
