Just got a shipping email from oco, shipping has begun!

Same, really looking forward to this set! I got the Orange Cyrillic, Red Hangul, & a ANSI 60% Blue/Red Hangul from the OG sets, but even the two full sets I got have pretty limited compat. This set will help me out there a ton & has one of my all time fav alphas design!

Anyone know if oco is planning to ever sell extras?  Their site is tragically outdated and, of course, has no information about the set at all.

I had emailed asking about Honeywell & Co. pink accent extras and was told they didn't know when they would put them up, they went up a few days after I had emailed and sold out. So, they'll probably put them up randomly as they always do.

To be fair, if it ships before December that's earlier than the original intended ship date. You should be expecting December anyways. Some people already have tracking, it'll come soon.

I just received a shipping notification w/ tracking number from Originative this afternoon, so I'd expect yours to be shipping very soon!

i got my kit last weekend and i'm having trouble with the 7U space bar returning slowly and sometimes getting stuck in the pressed down position. at the moment i'm using a 7U space bar from my GMK mac and cheese set and that one works great. i'm using a RAMA U80-A, durock stabs and holy polar panda switches. i tried substituting a gat black ink switch for the space bar but it was doing the same exact thing. that leads me to believe that it's not my keeb's fault. i can hear and feel something rubbing but i can't figure out what it is.

EDIT: the bar looks straight. i can't find any obvious issues with it.

EDIT2: i think the issue is with the receptacles that attach to the stabilizer stems

The 7U spacebar is for sure warped. Very sluggish on my Matrix with Durocks stab. I also tried hot-water it with not much success.

I thought ebpt was supposed to have made new space bar molds to fix this?

I think this set was made using the old moulds unfortunately.
I could be wrong.

Ehh, how many times have we heard that from PBT manufacturers by now with the issue never really getting fixed. Also to be fair the 6.25 space & all the other stabilized keys work just fine. Honestly I've pretty much given up on getting a good 7u PBT spacebar & just use color matching 7u ABS spacebars with most of my PBT sets. I just grabbed a set of Gok's ePBT BoW from Divinikeys as a small x-mas gift to myself, fingers crossed no warped 7u space come with it. Although I believe this set was made before the mold retooling for ePBT's spacebars so not particularly hyped about my chances there.

On a side note, have you guys seen Varmilo & Leopold's solution to keep PBT spacebars from warping badly during cooling? I think they have a really good design for it. The entire bottom of the cap is filled with reinforcing fins, enough to look like a grid under there. Not sure how much more it would help with 7u warping, but anything that helps keep them from warping is a welcome change IMHO!

i never had issues with aliexpress PBT space bars. i've bought several sets for as little as $20 shipped. never came across problems like this.

having said that, i'm really impressed with all the other keys and i'm still happy that i bought this set. the legends on this set are better than on my last few GMK sets. if i had to do it over again i'd still buy it. i'll just have to go on r/mm and hope someone is willing to part with a GMK 7U space bar while i borrow a space bar from a keyboard i'm not actively using right now.

I wouldn't say the legends are anything amazing. Especially for the sub-legends. For example, the Щ legend is a bit crooked compared to others. And the F and J sub-legends are a bit higher. This is by no mean a complaint given the group buy price.

compare to some of the GMK sets i got this year, this came out pretty well. i've learned to curb my expectations. my legends look good, i think. the sublegends don't bother. i can see why those two are higher, it was to clear the homing key marks. i forgot what those are called.

Also confirming issues with 7U spacebar and durock stabs specifically. The funny thing is that I'm using the L9 Space bar from 9009 R3 which is visibly more warped than the ePBT space bar. No issues.  I assume this is due to warp on the Y axis vs the X.

i didn't event think about L9, i remembered that Cafe is L9 after reading your post. dug it up for comparison, picture attached. CP (GMK PnC - bottom) is slightly lighter while L9 (GMK Cafe - top) is slightly darker than the alphas of this set. i think L9 works better. originative use to carry L9 space bars but they are OOS at the moment. hopefully they'll get some soon.
