You should! Make a holiday/break out of it. You'll find with most artists they will make exceptions to super long waiting lists if your travelling a long way.

What would you get by them?

Norm from will rise did it. Check his stuff. My clack was done by my housemate Simon Erl. Both extremely different styles but worth a look.

I can't read it, what does it say? Clit love?

I'd be somewhat worried if it did say clit love. I'm pretty sure she's not a huge fan of clits, expect perhaps her own.

The clue is that if it was clit the letters L & I would be different. But I'm sure you could have worked that out if you looked hard enough.

Addmittly it's not always easily interpreted but you got it with 'outlaw'.

I got my first tattoo last night. I had my artist draw up his own version of a cover of one of my all time favorite albums: Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain. I asked him to mix the charcoal look with more of a look of a real bird. I am really happy with how it turned out.

Here's mine.

Did it in one sitting in a shop in Seattle.  It took a few hours, but wasn't bad at all.  It had a slight tingly/burning feel in a few spots, mainly when the same spot was gone over several times, but for the most part I just zoned out.  Oddly, it tickled in a few spots and I couldn't feel it at all in others.

Here is a shot of my tat.  Pic was taken an hour or 2 after i got it

going to be getting my daughters name in the same style on my left arm probably in the next week or so then its on to my military tats that i want.

First is going to be my medals and ribbons that I earned.  Going to get them put on my chest where they would normally be worn.

Second is going to be my back piece.  Looking to get the AM rating emblam (the one between the chevrons and the crow in my avatar)  but I want the hammers to look like something you would see in a toolbox.  IE, wood grain handles and distressed beat up heads on them.  Then I want my rank emblem to look like it has been burned into one handle and the fouled anchor in the other one.  Plus I was wanting to get each of my grandfathers ribbons underneath each wing.

I just heard about a friends of a friends tattoo that is an ambigram ... is that a style of tattoo that is trending right now?  It is weird when you have never heard of a thing and then hear about it from two different sources at almost the same time.

Hey ! That's a thread I can relate to !
All tattoos were made by a friend of mine which, despite not being an official tattoo artist, as made over a thousand tattoos. It was carefully prepared in a safe environment.

My "Cryptoanarchist" tatoo, (it represent a Byte, I designed it, it's quite simple).

(All images posted with a free dog !)

My <3 tatoo, the first one I made. For the connoisseurs it's made in Fixedsys, one of the font of mirc. For those who wonder, no, it's not about a girl ;)

My lambda tattoo. I must admit I was drunk, but I don't regret it one bit, although I hesitate a bit more to show it to someone, because that's the only tattoo that I've made purely for the esthetic, it as no particular meaning ('cept that I love HL and science...).

I have another one inside my mouth on the lower lip, labelled "WTF!", but it was mainly myself being the subject of an experiment by my tattoo-artist-friend, it was made very softly, so it's already (a year after) almost gone.

(Don't hesitate to ask questions about tattoos, I know it's pretty much covered thanks to the people in this thread but I'm here too  ;) )

True till deth? What does that mean?

I hope it wasn't supposed to be "True Til Death" and the artist just misspelled it.  Till is the word for cash register, sediment deposited by melting glaciers, or synonymous with plowing soil.  Til is the shorthand for until.
