Author Topic: [GB] ZZ96 v2 r2 (replacements in progress) (Read 263567 times)

Hey Lunaris I hope you can chime in to manage my expectations as an international order in the 2.0 buy. I know you've been going through some personal troubles recently, so I don't want to seem like I am coming down on you or anything. I'd like to get a timeline to know when to expect what.

As far as I can tell from 2.0 we were hoping to ship July/August, but then there was a delay in the manufacturers sending you stuff. The US orders were then shipped when you were in the States and the international orders would be shipped once you returned to China. I was under the impression that everything was pretty much already sorted and ready to go from the 28th of August. Is there a problem with those sets?

I hope so. But he mentioned that DHL will handle shipping. From past deliveries, DHL delivers really fast for me.

Oh that would of course be great. I wasn't sure whether they were actually shipped that day. I don't know if international DHL does tracking, but I assumed that we'd get a tracking number. I also would assume he would confirm if they had indeed been shipped.

DHL would have been delivered if it was sent on the 30th. I am pretty sure they have not been shipped yet. I've had pretty bad luck with group buys lately... 3 of them are heavily delayed. But on the bright side my TX-CP that I joined in on in August has shipped already!

LD was pretty on point with updates and question answering up until the update on the 30th. I'm sure something has come up relating to the personal issues he was having before or maybe with the quality of the items (or mixups).. who know. Fingers crossed! I'd like to have it before end of the month... hope LD can chime in soon.

I just spoke to him earlier this week on IM, I'm part of the international orders. Not sure what's the hold up, but I'm sure he's doing his best to get the orders out.

Did anyone receive their orders that was supposedly shipped on the 30th of last month? Those should have arrived already if they really were shipped.

I'm curious about whether those orders shipped on the 30th or not. he was active until the 11th so he should have said otherwise if they were not.

I understand being a little antsy about your stuff, but LD seems more than trustworthy.

I'm here, guys. Was in Shanghai for the past week w/ limited internet access (and food poisoning!). Back now. Shipped off a batch before I left and it reached the reshipper yesterday. Filling out the addresses for those right now. Will PM you soon if your order was in said batch.

Hey LD, glad you are back and ok. any word on the ink blue/titanium grey replacements? It has been over 2 months since the colors were replaced

Thanks for the update LD! Will the remainder (not in said batch) be shipping out this week?
Just wondering what we can expect in terms of the other orders that did not ship on the 30? Is there an issue with the items or just a delay in getting them packed and shipped?

Shipping notifications have been sent. A couple more will follow in the upcoming week, and a selected few I will PM to discuss some issues with your order specifically, not about defects, but organization (I brought some cases over to the US to ship, and they are... still in the US, even though they should be sent to non-US destinations). This affects very few people and you will be notified very soon if you are one of them. I can arrange for them to be sent from the US via DHL, which will be more expensive than from China, but that's a non-issue - time is the biggest factor right now.

EDIT: just got a sms from DHL express with a tracking number, looks like something is on it's way, I think it's this

EDIT2: it is I just checked my reddit inbox and noticed a message from LD, now another text to pay €40 import duties to DHL

I spoke to LD via PM last Friday. He mentioned that V2.5 is still in production and it's still a ways out from completion. Not sure about the validity of the reddit V2.5 shipment status, but LD mentioned that he's wrapping up V2 orders prior to V2.5.

Hey, I've been lurking around trying to find a ZZ96 in some form or fashion.

Just curious, are there any extra black or greys that are not currently accounted / paid for? Is there anyone who has a black or grey that is looking to hand theirs off? Just hoping here, since it sounds like an R3 is a ways off, if ever.
