[IC][Official] GMK Ubuntu (Update : IC Form)

Hi, guys, this is my first thread and post in GH.

GMK Ubuntu is inspired from... well, Ubuntu. My first and favourite Linux distribution.
I've signed the License Agreement with the Ubuntu owner, Canonical Ltd., so this can be called official.

Looks awesome. Will probably be my first GMK set. Have you considered having the legends on the modifiers as text only?

Have you considered having alternative legends for the modifiers (i.e. 'sudo' 'mkdir' 'grep' 'apt-get' etc.)?

WS1 is very a bright white. L9 would match your render better and also the Pantone colors.

Hmm, I see. But, according to the design pattern, the Ubuntu logo font must be white.
Maybe I'll make L9 on every white here except the Ubuntu logo.

I'm not a big fan anymore of super high contrast themes, sincerely I like a little bit more gmk monkey, which can be mixed with gmk 9009 for example.

Well, I think make the white (except the logo) become CP or L9 (but I see L9 seems too yellow).
The purple one is include already on this set.

All modifier keys would look better in Light or Mid Aubergine colour.  I am not huge fan of orange.

Well, maybe after this IC becomes GB, I'll make it for SA or DSA. I don't know about XDA.

Still awesome, few more suggestions:

• 1u backspace, for people with HHKBs and split backspaces
• The 1.5u R2 backspace has a gap between the Back and Space, be careful sending the render as is
• You should add 3 blanks for people with ISO layouts to go near the ISO enter and beside the shortened shifts (in case people don't want to use legends).
• The windowed keys as mentioned before by Puddsy.
• Text-based 'up'/'down'/'right'/'left' would also be aces.

Looking good! For vendors, can I recommend Massdrop, Originative or Keyclack? They’re all proven in the community (some don’t have a lot of love for Massdrop, but it’s good for bringing in large numbers).

Yeah, Massdrop is my dream vendor, but I think Massdrop has tight Group Buy QA so it's hard to get them run this GB.
But, who knows? We'll see later

If you're looking for a vendor then I may be interested. I've maintained a love/hate relationship with many distros since high school, Ubuntu and its variations included, and I do dig the colorscheme. Plus I have a good working relationship with Christoph of GMK due to months of work involved with GMK Coniferous. I'm no Massdrop, but I can almost guarantee fewer delays
