Funky, but if any extra space is being taken by something other than keys, it should be on the left hand side so you have more room for the mouse whilst keeping the alpha keys centred to your body... if that makes sense

kinda gamer-y imo. Is this the only color you'd have?

My thoughts:

I would also prefer another layout over TKL, many TKL around, for the rest of the design i kinda like it, i like the shapes and the diffusers

I think the line LEDs are cool, most keyboards already use circles. Variety is good

Here's what I mean about mouse space (pro paint skills)

I have almost same opinion except that I like the shape of the odd edge that came out at right
In my opinion I think making odd shape at left will be fine? with the indicators.

I like this funky design

Can't you just remove that part instead of moving it :D
Eventually you can do that strange thing if you want to put the indicators (circles or lines) but i don't see the point to ruin a design that looks nice just to put that thing (logo i guess)

I think there is no point for this TKL if that point edge is removed. I am one of the potential buyers who feels that the edge is cool.

I'm not against removing it, but if that's the designers vision I'm not going to tell him to remove it... but I will suggest placing it somewhere less obstructive  :D

I think that part

gives to the keyboard a "cheap gamer keyboard look"  while without these things it might be an elegant looking keyboard.

Then again... those are the things that distinguish it a bit more from all the other tkl designs out there.

Totally agree - that stuff should be on the left.
Definitely like the different shape and the light strip around the edge.

Agree with others that the extra notch and lights should be on the left.

Is there any way you can make the extra notch be a USB arc-lighter? Just press a button on the side and the arcs light up? That would be cool.

Or add lasers.

Love this design, honestly. While the right side isn't very practical, it's unique looking and stands out. I really dig it.

I like the design but it looks like those slits will be difficult/expensive to machine.  Those tiny bits are going to get torn up :D. Looking forward to seeing a prototype!

Having all that space taken up on the right defeats the purpose of a TKL board. Move it to the left, and you will have a much more functional board that still looks amazing.

I disagree on the gamer look- this looks more retro to me honestly, which is a good thing.
If anything, I'd say amp up the 80s.

I like the LED layout, and I like the accent on it (though I agree it's a good idea moving it to the left).

Not everything MK has to be minimal and sleek.
Not everything has to be function > form.
There are already loads of floating keys CNC aluminum rectangles- piles and piles of them.

OP: Sick design. Simple edit for form&function --- move that cool bottom right decal portion to the left side so that it doesn't interfere with mouse movement. You've got yourself a looker!

Any idea how much itll cost?

This isn't really my style, but: If you move that dangly bit from the right to the left, AND maybe make the silver insert part slightly raised, and a FREAKIN' KEYCAP with a middle-switch and 2u stabilizer mount? It could be a cool stealth macro key. And being on the left side of the board, I don't think it would be too easy to accidentally hit.

Just an idea to give some functionality to the little bulge.
