When the keycaps don't quite fit the board, but screw it
« on: Sat, 05 May 2018, 15:55:39 »
There are two things wrong in this picture. Anyone else guilty of this?
Whatever, I know where the keys are. It's a trap for plebs trying to use my board. Ya.

Right shift, of course, and backspace looks like it's somehow the wrong profile? It actually doesn't look bad. But I know the frustration of wanting everything perfect.

Well this is an extra keyset anyway, I only ordered it for the cherry novelty keys to put on SA Honeywell lol. The backspace looks more off in this picture than most angles.

I would think some ISO user who bought that keycap set should have a 2.25 Shift to spare ... if that set came out in ISO, that is.

Maxkey doesn't support ISO at all.

Oh, I didn't realize you could use the numpad plus cap there. It actually looks pretty good. What's the profile on a cap like that, given that it's usually placed vertically? And what's the size, 2u? Could it be used as a mini-spacebar on something like a Planck?

It's symmetrical, and looks pretty much like row 3 I'd say. 2u.
