Hello fellow enthusiasts-
My name is josh and I am a 32 year old male. I came across GeekHack really by way of being a computer/builder slash gamer. I was looking for a mechanical board after my old Logitech gaming rubber dome started dying on me. I kept finding articles written by people who were part this geek hack site. Anyways I learned more read a lot made a few stumbles along the way CoUGh Razer black widow stealth cough (no seriously it wasn't that bad of a board I just hated the software and the non uniform caps). Anyways I have a ducky shine 3 with browns and I am really enjoying it 8) .... I'm looking forward to picking up a tkl or 60% board soon. I just ordered my first set of pbt key caps like a month ago and they just came in ... Anyways I really am enjoying this site and all the knowledge available and looking forward to getting to know some of you and hopefully making some friends.... Anyways thanks

Welcome to Geekhack!

What do you think of the PBT keycaps?  Some people love PBT, others prefer ABS (although it does shine a lot quicker).  A few even prefer POM!

Lots more things for you to buy ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
