I want to offer 40% support, and I don't want to have a second base kit to do so. This approach allows me to do that and the results I got with GMK Jamón were beyond my expectations. The outcome was good enough that other people are also using it for their sets.

Just like I did with Jamón, I want to test this approach with what in theory might be a smaller group buy. If the results are good, I might use it for future sets, otherwise I'd go back to the "standard" GMK set.

I think it’s a good thing to cut numpad from the base kit. If you look at pictures posted by the community, full size boards are really in a minority.

Having a good pricing for that kit is super important if we want to hit MOQ. So that's why I've opted to just offer the accent keys since I like how they look with a 40%.

The kits are not locked, but it's very likely that they will remain as they are right now.

I understand. I hoped that the Jamón 40s kit had sold well enough that you'd have the confidence to run a bigger 40s kit for Striker too, but I can definitely appreciate the importance of keeping prices lower without the reach that Massdrop brings.

On the plus side, I love Rama caps, and these ones are no exception! They both look great!

I personally will never buy a set that includes ISO again due to the wasted plastic used to manufacture those abominations some claim to so desperately "need". Think of the environment!

Get over it and switch to ANSI. I did years ago and it's been worth it :p
