Novelties are expensive, and have high MOQs, I want to make sure all kits get made. With some perspective, I don't feel the JP flag fits that well and lately I've been liking just standard things. I don't know. Maybe I'll make some novelties, maybe I won't

Most 40s kit already have a LH shift as part of the standard default layout and for a small keyboards to replace the /? Key which I believe is used quite frequently with another shift key doesn't make sense to me. I realise that utilising a 40% you are already giving up a lot of regularly used keys for the small form factor which will be accessible via functions but still it just feels right to have access to the /? key rather than have 2 shift keys on the same row. You could probably say the same for the RH alt and ctrl keys but those generally seem to be replaced with FN / layer keys. Maybe I'm just in the minority for thinking this?

That's unfair; you're taking something selling on MD, something on which we pay a **** ton of customs. Plus the facts that jamon is not a colorway liked by everyone - no disrespect to Zambumon but I personally don't like the set.

I love how you speak of that like it was $10 added. we're talking of $1 here. Take the $1 the designer fee and the problem is fixed. Again, I'm not even saying it should be included in the core kit; heck, we ran Monochrome without the ISO keys in the core...

Cost or not, it just doesn't sell. It's had it's opportunities. No point raising the base price for a few hundred people to benefit a handful.

Yeah the colorway isn't as popular as others, but the percentages are still the same. Less people buying the base of course means less buying ISO as there's less overall.

New kits are pretty great! I’m very happy to see the accent Esc and Enter included with the core.

Also really pleased to see the 40s kit is still alive! I’m completely fine with the reduced splitbar support compared to Jamón’s 40s kit. My only complaint would be I’d still like to see the regular color Esc and Enter in the 40s kit as well as the accented ones (so something in between this and Jamón’s 40s kit). Pretty small complaint though and I would happily purchase the kit as is

That's something I want to discuss with those interested on the kit. The impact of those keys could be from $5 to $8 or $9, which might not be so good for lower MOQs.

ISO has its beauties but not enough people are opting for it this is my main factor for adjusting to a different layout. The only things I use now from the ISO keys is the 1.25u Shift and 3£ key. The Apple OS and Win OS swaps some of those ISO keys around which makes those keys a little more complicated and futile.

For the kits, I am good with the change. The only request I have is the alternative arrow keys from the novelties kit you took out. Would be great to see them on the core kit. And for the 40s kit, its good where it is. However, if you decide to make it like the Jamon 40s kit, then you've got to add an extra 2u bar to make it complete so it covers pretty much everything.
