Post your Miami boards!!
« on: Thu, 19 June 2014, 04:42:12 »
So as we all know, only the coolest cats rock Miami boards. So post them up!! I've seen alot of people rocking them but I think it would be pretty awesome if there was one place given how varied peoples boards seem to be!

I love Miami boards and waited soo long for them to become a reality (after the original GB got postponed and then ruined by the rootworm attack) so let us celebrate the wonders of Bunny Lake and his work in bringing back the most unique and baller set, ever existed!

I'll kick it off with my board :)

Well the pink blanks are from an old blank realforce set, which are no longer sold. You have to find someone willing to sell them to you! :) The modifiers were made by hipsterpunks, he coated a regular set of black modifiers, then sanded down the edges I believe. :) And the two purple caps are part of a Grape Ape gamer set from Bro Caps.

Well played, sir :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
