Author Topic: [WTS] My dream KMAC for the past 4 months SOLD (Read 19635 times)

I can't believe I'm writing this up. I've decided that it's time for me to move on from my keyboard hobby. I've been slowly selling off all of my keyboard equipment, all I have left is the Filco I started out with and a Code. This is the last one of my projects to go.
I've been collecting the parts for this keyboard for 5 months now. I set out to create my ideal Korean custom, with everything in the board being completely custom made. This board really was a joy to assemble, and it's even better to use. Here are the specs:

Titanium Gray KMAC LE

65g Zealios

IMSTO Thick PBT Hangul blue-lettered keycaps

BSP Thick PBT RGB Modifiers

Cyan LEDs on the F-row, Caps and Scroll Lock, and the W key

Custom silencing pads on the aluminum feet

This board took a lot of effort and stress for me to assemble, but I think it was worth it in the end. It is a beautiful, amazing keyboard to type on or just gaze at. I am asking for $600 + shipping + fees within the CONUS only. This is actually what I paid altogether for all the parts (I added it all up), because I had to get the board assembled by people, and the parts above were not easy to find/cheap. Everything in this keyboard is absolutely top notch. The board was ultimately assembled by Steezus. Pictures of the board without the caps can be found on his East Coast Assembly Services page. The last thing in my opinion to complete the board is finding a proper 7u spacebar for it. That will be the mission of the new owner! Right now it is a simple 7u ABS spacebar.

This board is really special to me. I'd like whoever carries on my project to really appreciate and love it as much as I do.

DISCLAIMER
- the board is in perfect condition EXCEPT two screws on the bottom are stripped. This makes removing the bottom case impossible without a tool to remove stripped screws. Please keep this in mind when buying the board.

Yes! I saw this one, but unfortunately it's a little bit out of my price range atm

Nice, I think the multiple legends look really cool (symbiosis, cyrillic, etc.). Might try to snag a Japanese set if Ivan has extras.

Both have mx brown switches and they both feel great. I feel like the Browns on the das are a bit stiffer than the Browns on the code, so it comes down to what you prefer. Both are awesome though

Coming from buckling springs, how much of a change will they be? I think I may have tried browns, but I thought what I was typing on were blues--it was a logitech g710 at walmart.

Then it was probably blues I was typing on at walmart because it was audible and I could really feel the 'click'. I think I won't feel anything with browns.

You definitely still feel a bump, but you are right, there is no audible click, or clicking sensation

I know Chinese distributors selling white filco on Tabobao (Chinese version of amazon). Only they are double module (Bluetooth/wired) and they are around 1399 CNY. I can hook you up if your are interested.

Not sure what your concern is, but those are authorized distributors. You just need to pay for int'l shipping cost.
