Screenprinting class is actually happening. I made a little design based off of Binge's Lion Keyng. Hopefully next week I've got something more to post. Which means that some DIY Tactile Posters are coming soon. And maybe this print too if anyone's interested.

It got kinda drippy when I stood it up to dry. And some of the screen filler didn't wash out right. I like how it turned out with all the imperfections. Happy with my first screenprint but there's a lot to learn still. Really enjoying printmaking.

International readers who haven't received their zines also have something in the mail now.If you've joined the mailing list in the last few months, I've been slacking on mailing them out. But I believe I'm caught up now.

Rilakkuma makes no sense right now. He's supposed to be a lazy bear and he climbed to the top of the Vol 5 mountain? Volume 5 is now printed. Time to fold...

Shoutouts to kudosgodspeed for hooking Tactile up with a lovely throwie.

Lately (Read in the last 2 weeks), your donations have been going towards:

Stamps
Envelopes
Paper

I also discovered a machine that will fold paper automatically and thermal label printers. I'm bidding on eBay on both to try and grab them for as cheap as I can. Since the money is *donated* I try and get the best deals I can.

Tonight I learned that Stamps.com is compatible with thermal label printers. I've been exploring options to get away from hand addressing envelops because it takes too long. I'd like to print off stamps and shipping labels through Stamps.com so I'll be signing up for the subscription. Please considering donating as this will become a recurring monthly bill that will directly go into making the zine better. If I don't have to go to the PO or hand address envelopes, I'll be able to turn zines around faster. Don't worry, I'm exploring options to still include something handwritten.

I'm also looking into getting special stickers and having shirts made. I know I've been talking a lot about having stuff for sale and I'm working towards that. I'm trying to build stock and seeing if my work life stabilizes for a good amount of time.

Got some foil sticker samples from a local place. The prices were crazy though. And it was hilarious how they thought I was a legit business.

So I've had Volume 5 printed for ten days but I haven't folded or stapled them yet. Part of that is because I was AFK for a few days. But also because I was waiting for this stuff. Your lovely donations have allowed me to buy a folding machine and a thermal printer to address the envelopes.

It's definitely making my life a bit easier and I got it for a steal on eBay. Same thing with the Dymo. Pretty cheap.

I am going to apologize ahead of time because I'm still getting used to the machine and some people's zines are going to be extra folded or crumpled because I'm bad.
