[IC] RGB backlight artisan box (Updated on Jan 25)

Update:

Available for pre-order on kprepublic now:







Features:

  • Aluminum case
  • Two nameplates in aluminum or titanium
  • Polycarbonate top case with inserted strong magnet
  • Aluminum parts will be anodized.
  • Titanium parts will have special crystallite shapes on the surface
  • RGB backlight controlled by a small button
    • RGB Rainbow Wave
    • RGB Pulse on 50% Brightness
    • RGB Pulse on 100% Brightness
    • Steady White, Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, Purple

I'd be down for this. I especially like that you don't need any switches and can simply display the artisan with easy access while displaying it with a nice backlight. Any ideas as to when you would hope to be starting a gb?

Q1: Will every LED colour be programmably individually?

Q2: Battery-powered mode?

Q3: What are the hexagon-pattern caps and where do I get them? ;)

1. The firmware can't be programmed by default. You can only use the pre-set LED modes.

2. It can be powered by portable chargers

3. It's from a previous group buy. Not available now.

White is a common color. We can add it to the final firmware.
