New keeb build now or later?

I'm at a crossroad, I really want to build a keeb I've been planning for ages and is fairly expensive to build here in Nz (not finalized yet but looking at boba ut4s and a full sized keeb)

I want to build the keeb but as I'm moving to Germany in a years time I've been considering just saving the money and buying a nice pair of headphones instead, my current pair are literally falling apart.
I've come to ask Gh for its opinion as I've already asked loads of friends but they're all skewed to one or another side (now that I think about it...)
Nevertheless I still want gh's opinion as the more I know, the better I am prepared to choose

Is your current keyboard falling apart?  If not, I'd say but the headphones.

If you encounter a tragic event in the days ahead and can no longer afford to spend money, would you be happy if you had two keyboards and no headphones?  Or, would you be better off having a working keyboard and working (not falling apart) headphones?
