Yep, the 40% kit is the same as in Chocolatier and is made to fit the minivan

I think the deer looks very nice, whether or not it should be an alternative ESC key or not I don't feel qualified enough to say. I love the design, though.

Thank you! I thought about using the deer novelty for alternate alt keys but I think it's better to keep it minimal, low profile.

As for Massdrop, yes I'm so happy to see this many people enjoying the look of the set! Glad to have this much support and I'm looking forward to a groupbuy!

Hello

I just got confirmation from Signature Plastics that we can get a custom color for alphas!

I'm thinking of going with either Pantone 705 U or 7422U:

Leaning towards 7422U (more pinky) but let me know what you guys prefer!

Feel free to comment/suggest a more suitable shade/tint.

I'm personally leaning towards to the 705U but I really would be totally fine with either one. Love the knew novelties by the way, because I personally probably wouldn't put any of the lavender colored caps on the board and the new novelties added more amazing purple options

705U might be a bit brighter but it's more on the beige side. For novelties I figured the pink/lavender colored ones wouldn't appeal to everyone haha, glad you like the purple ones

Here are some color-accurate renders:

Keep in mind, the keyboard is under a light source (most common condition).

The 7520U Color was used in some most early renders and works well (might be a bit darker irl though)
The 7422U 'cotton candy' color also works well; lighter and complements the purple .

It does stand out the most, and works well too. It was the color I had originally planned to use but felt a light pink would fit the grand Budapest theme better. But both the 7520U and 7422U are recurrent colors in the film's palette so in the end it's down to personal taste. I've been using this color for most of my renders and the feedback has always been positive so it would make more sense to stick to it
