Out of box. I was thinking about painting a custom case for it but the black is actually so nice. I don't know if i want to replace the wasd cluster with the red ones.

Even though it was my idea, after seeing Miami in real keys that way I am pretty meh. Looks too cyan not aquamarine and SP thin legends make it hard to see legends. I think it would have probably looked better with white legends or as blanks with SP.

It is really hard to make out the legends in anything less than a fully lit room.  I even mixed up some letters when putting them on the keyboard, had to turn on more lights to tell the difference between "Q" and "O."

Pretty striking, though.  I plan on using this at the office, it's beautiful when lit well!  Hard as hell to photograph, though, I had to use a sheet of white paper to get the camera to even see them as pink and not orange.   :p

(Edit: Is that too many colors on one keyboard?  Nah...   :))  )

AWWW YEEEE this is sweet! i like dat

The contrast on the Miami set is so bad..

Welcome to the red-green colorblind club, mate.  Miami looks like an LSD vision gone wrong to me due to red-green colorblindness.

I can see all the boxes and circles in that link. The contract between colors just isn't very good.

Yeah I'm rarely a fan of using the mod colors for alpha legends and vice versa, reckon the Miami set would have looked much better with plain white legends.
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

I don't really know since the colors are pretty light. I don't think white would contrast that well either

But black would look a buit odd

Yeah it's hard to tell really. The pink mods would be fine as they'd be like the Valentines set but I'm not sure how the alphas would go.

You probably will replace the WASD.

Then you will start wondering about replacing other keys.

Then it won't be long until you are searching for your first replacement keycap set ...
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Very nice board! The 1000 series is extremely solid and well-built. It might be PCB mount but it feels more sturdy than my old Filco.

Titan's don't come new in giant boxes, lol :P Given how nvidia prices things (especially lately) I don't see them dropping the price for the standard Titan new to below what I got this at. Thanks, though :)

These babies just came in! Sadly my keyboard won't be in for a while, but at least I'll have most of my keycaps that I want by then.

There are some defects and imperfections regarding this case.  Some explained by TrueCustoms himself and some I've found after careful inspection.

- There is a chip on the side of the riser due to the anodizing process.
- The plates are stainless steel and the back side of the plates have laser burns.
- PCBs are missing ONE diode on them
- A minor scratch on the flat corner

I'll add more pictures when I get to work..

That's really disappointing considering how expensive they were.  Are you getting any kind of refund for the defects?

Just came in 2 x Gasmasks

I took a bunch of pictures but was not paying much attention and they all came out extremely badly.

This was my best.. still a bit blurry.

Ughhh so jealous, missed out!
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.

A broken CM Trigger with MX blues (I bought it as broken, so all good).

Best case I can fix it, worst case my 7yo daughter can use it to display her custom keycaps and it doesn't matter how much food and drink she spills on it ')
