Seen some information being thrown about about how you create your designs - do you sculpt them with clay or other means? Could you give a little insight into it? 
Every design I've put out so far has been made from a clay master. Typically starting with a keycap base or the HWS $ynth. Put down a base layer of clay, harden it, add to or remove from the base with more clay if needed until you're happy with the results. Just need an idea, tiny tools, steady hand, and a lot of patience.
I've gone through 2-3 different designs for Cavalier, Hugo, and Snapper before reaching the production versions. The first Cavalier had really short hair, a bigger nose, and more angular keycap sides. The first Hugo had entirely smooth skin and webbed fingers, like a salamander, and the first Snapper had deep grooves in the shell that got smoothed out in later versions.
In order to make decisions about changes between versions, I make a resin prototype of the keycap and keep it in front of me on my desk for several days before deciding what to do next. You get to see a lot of flaws in the shape or surface of the key much more clearly once it's cast in resin, particularly if you cast it in multiple colors.
