Looking for a very specific iMac part
« on: Wed, 15 January 2014, 17:15:34 »
I need a power supply for my new 2007 24 inch iMac. I can find them for 175 on ebay, or 120 plus shipping on a less reputable looking site, but I paid 60 for the iMac, and for all I know the power supply toasted the logic board, so I need to find one for less..

..so I have come to the geekhack forums for two reasons, one, I have noticed the keyboard collectors often have a stash of spare technology, and two, because it's actually an active classifieds.

any leads on where I might find parts would be helpful, I will post the specifics when I get home. Also I know this isn't a keyboard thing, but I do use a keyboard for my iMac, so please don't hate (that much) people!

Also.. if anyone has a pinout diagram for the motherboard power cable I would love you forever. I could rig up a spare atx psu to see if it still works.

EDIT I just got a response on this after two months, I forgot it was here, the part is found! Can delete? how do?
