Today, tp4 got so bored,  He recorded his own 4K bluray on a cellphone in 4K off of a 4K TV, and watched the whole recording of the movie, on the same 4K TV.  It was actually pretty decent.


What has y'all been doin'Covid 2021 ?

My wife and I have been watching “Alone” on Hulu. Good time. Just finished season 3.

Makes me want to learn some kind of outdoors related skills

briefly considered digging out opteron 165, x1900xtx,  Buhhhh couldn't think of a period game to play.

Since we are going there, I watched Star Trek The Original Series when I was in high school in the 1960s, and occasionally in syndication afterwards. I pretty much ignored the later series but I did see some of the movies (most of the early ones, fewer of the later ones).

When my son was coming up we watched TOS together and about a season or a little more of TNG and Voyager, but didn't really engage. Both my kids loved the reboot movies and so I watched them but only liked the first one.

During Covid I worked my way through the entire series - it took months. One day I will start a thread with my observations.
