Silver silica is going to be thinner and more flexible than stainless steel, but it would be a massive difference. It's enough to notice/feel, though and could cause issues with cable channels.
Carbon fiber and kevlar are similar in thickness and flexibility, but carbon is kinda coarse and a bit sticky where the kevlar is smooth. They're both a weave like other techflex stuff, but kevlar also has a better coverage than carbon, too.
