definitive mod guide & quick question

Is there a "definitive" guide to desoldering and soldering switches? Maybe one that you guys like the best? Also, once you desolder...do you need something like beasts tool to to remove the switch from a plate mount, or is that tool for taking apart switches only?

I have a poker 2 coming that I want to mod to MX Clears. This will be my first "mod".

+1 WFD's youtube channel is amazing. check out the ergo clears mod video for soldering desoldering and lots more.

I highly recommend his kmac, phantom, and lubing videos as well. I pretty much suggest you watch all his videos like 3 times and subscribe to his channel!
