For the next group buy, we will do a black key with white "gh" legend. These will be Cherry MX only. Row 1 (Esc/Fn row). The keys SHOULD look like this:

These will be a little more expensive due to the setup cost. These will likely be pad-printed due to the detail.

USA - First key $9 shipped, additional keys +$5 each.
Non-USA - First key $13 shipped, additional keys +$5 each.

Pre-pay just like always. Send money via paypal (as a gift if at all possible) to me [at] imav [dot] org . In the subject, put GH key - August 2011 - GH username. In the body of the message, please include number of keys, your mailing address, and your geekhack username.

The OP should always mention the proposed specs of the key, to help new folks and avoid repeated questions:
1. Material
2. If it is doubleshot, printed, whatever
3. Key profile (which row does it go on?)

And how does this help an interested user who joined GH in the last couple of weeks and never participated in any group buy, that will be wondering if this is a double shot, which row it fits, etc? Group buys shouldn't assume all geekhack users are veteran participants.

sordna, the GH keys almost always sell out...it's mostly the same folks that buy them. So I am typically not that detailed in the description since the folks that look for the monthly group buy know the deal.

I've stated I will continue to do these as long as there is interest. Actually, the worse I advertise the group buy, the better chance I have of freeing up some free time.

This is not on my list of favorite designs. I think that I will wait for the next "monthly" iMAV key group buy (but don't stop doing it).

I think he mentioned whic row it fits already. As it is, if you looked up other threads, you'll notice almost, if not all GH keys are R1. take some time to read. The guy's busy enough organizing this to answer questions that have already been posted.

As for your other questions. Didn't he say pad-printed?

Dye-subbed would be awesome. Would cost more, i think.
