pretty nice design, however people tend to choose 60%s for their compact size. Those cases have a huge bezel, to the point where it might actually be deeper than a keyboard with the function row.

Feedback taken to heart, will make the bezel smaller for the next run.

I like the all matching materials. Not digging that bezel or shape though. Looks like a Pyrex baking dish...for a second I thought you were using that to hold your plate while you worked on the board.

I actually like the bezel, but I'm looking for a 65%/75%/something else around that

I'm gonna handwire it. It's juts cheaper and for me better than having to make a PCB.

Well, winkeyless.kr sells 60% PCBs, so as long as your spacing is standard they should fit fine

I'm gonna handwire it. It's juts cheaper and for me better than having to make a PCB.

With 3mm plates (that's what they look like) and no undercuts or PCB, the switches won't "lock" into place and you'll have to use hotglue or some other means of holding the switches in place. Even then, the force of pulling keycaps could pull the switches out the plate. I'd look into both undercutting the relevant area for the switches (see pic below for an example) and using a PCB, or using a 5mm plate and PCB to get better switch / plate strength / stability. With a 5mm plate, the plate is held tightly between the switches and PCB and the whole assembly is nice and strong and you don't need undercuts, but it means you need to mount all the electronic parts on the bottom of the PCB.

What controller are you planning on using?
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Gonna use a teensy 2.0, thanks for the advice, I'll look into for the next build!

You haven't considered making the bezel slightly smaller? Besides that, I'm certainly intrigued by the design

I think it's a good idea to get a solid/proven design going on, once you do that, you could even sell parts only, I would love to buy a 65%/75% case (only case, with screws and adhesives and stuff) for example - to handwire manually

Nice socks by the way
