Title: Lower, flatter keycap profile?

So recently got my first mechanical keyboard, the cooler master ck350. It's great after the cheap low profile Logitech I had before it. However, the whole setup feels too high, and the wrist angle is a lot less comfortable. I don't have room for a wrist pad.

I'm thinking about finding keycaps that are lower and also with wider surface area. The default ck350 feel like surface are is small and distance between the keys is too big and the keycap edge too sharp.

I'd be very grateful if someone could guide me, what keycap profile would be a good option? (lower height, wider surface area, less of an edge between keys)

DSA or XDA keycap profiles would be your cup of tea.

DSA - well, their edges are more "agressive", than XDA I would say, they are low, but top surface is smaller than XDA.

Here's XDA next to DSA - you can see how top surface is smaller in this case.

MDA is also big flat caps, a bit higher than XDA, but still kinda your preference.

do keep in mind that less gap between the keys leads to more mistakes and accidental presses.  I prefer dsa to xda for this reason.

have you checked G20 profile (http://"https://pimpmykeyboard.com/search.php?Search=&search_query=G20")? its surface is flat and wide, the height is low too.

agreed, DSA>XDA for many reasons. spacing being one of them.

agreed, DSA>XDA for many reasons. spacing being one of them.

It is a personal preference, many people do not like high edges on DSA.
Height may fit in, but edges, or texture may not.
Good that we have so many profiles we can pick from  :)
