BTW Does anyone have a picture of white HHKB with Realforce keycaps (88U/87U the beige one).  I have always wondered how it would look, especially with only the alpha caps switched. Cheers!

HHKB and RealForce alpha keycaps are essentially identical, except some HHKB ones have extra front-printed legends.

Unless you looked closely, there would not be any significant difference inappearance.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The modifiers are not compatible between sets, although if you don't mind one or two profiles not matching a RF set will fit onto an HHKB.

And of course you can always swap just the alphas, which is a common route to take.  Here's my HHKB with blue alphas.

seems expensive for 4 keys, but it's worth it for the blanks alone. it's probably the only blank blue topre key i will see in my lifetime..

i'm just gonna ignore that that included key puller didn't exist too

FC660C?  If so, are the black on gray keycaps somewhat readable, or are they like the RF87U and very low contrast?
