First page...

Hmm, will there be any smaller posting option like envelope, if I go just for some novelty junk ;D

And how much time do I have for SVGs?

Also I suggest combining Swedish and Finnish as no one has ever seen Finnish-multilingual...

I think we should have some gray background for the modifiers etc, plus RGB-kit.

I don't get that 'posting option like envelope' thing?

Nevertheless, you should have some few months time for the SVGs.

Also, Swedish and Finnish will be combined.

You can well fit all single sized keys in envelope, so for those who don't need full 250 keys, this might be a cheaper option.

What about a tenkeyless and/or a poker kit? There are probably quite a lot of people that don't need numpad keys.

Ok, dumb question, there is a great wiki article describing almost everything.

Are Cherry MX stems assumed unless otherwise specified?

Will the 5-6 colors in the wiki article be the only ones offered or will the expanded palette shown in the Group 3 pictures be applicable?

Sorry, I'm sure everyone's already been over this but this is the first SP group buy I'm considering or have paid attention to.

Yes, all key caps are for Cherry MX, except the ALPS kits.

The more choices the fewer pieces of one choice will be produced, the higehr the price. The colors are not final, but I think these many different colors and text-styles should please most of us.

Hoping you can do this eventually, can you throw up images/preview for all the kits?

I'm interested in purchasing the mac modifier keys for my leopad keyboard but the last order had the clover to large. Has this been fixed for the next order? Is lettering for this set white on black only?

I love that there are 'picture menu' for most of it this time. Having mock ups of everything is really helpful.
While having 87 and 61 kits would be handy as a preset it looks like you can do the same with ordering
ALP + MOD + PUN = Poker $49
ALP + MOD + PUN + FULLFUN + CUR = Tenkeyless $64
Hmmm... Might as well just do STD instead though.
I'm definitely down for a Bianco ALP, but need to decide which color I want for legends.

I was looking at doing a standard kit as well, but that would consist of only 1 color set. Good if you want that, but not cool if you want a more customized set.

Thats certainly true if you want to do different colors, but what I was getting at is maybe there could be a STD87 with a bit more of a price break than $1.

We might need some simplifications.. and distribution of work for sorting.. to make this happen.. (although sadly I might not be able to help because I live far away)
In reality, shipping takes soooooooooooooooooooo long and price will likely go up if we have too much of variety in base sets.
Love the Bianco set though! Lets target for more of this set to make the price go down.

Very interested in the RETRO set.  Is it intended to look like classic Cherry doubleshots?

Rounds 1 and 3 had standard sets at around $50, right?  Any chance of getting that low this time if we get enough people, or are the prices shown on the wiki firm?

Also, what is our timeline here for the various stages of this buy?  "Months", I know, but we should probably have some specific goals in mind.

I will prepare graphics for all kits, but this takes some time.

The clover key will be fixed in the next round.

Colors will be the same as for modifier keys of that particular style. RGB kits will also be available.

Possible to get a Soware set in R4?  Pics below.

Ignore the WASD and other random caps besides the main set.

Pic taken from Taeyoung of Deskthority and OTD.

SP Has made this once or twice for OTD I believe,  I believe it was originally suppose to look differant and SP messed it up but OTD really liked it so they kept it.  I'm sure one of the OTD/Deskthority guys will come and correct me on the name and origin.

Prices are not fixed. I start with higher prices. Once you paid, I will lower the prices to trick you to get more key caps instead of a refund!

It worked perfectly in Round3. We had to stop it to make sure it doesn't getting on forever.

Quote from: dante;390721
Can I assume that the ALPs keys will fit perfectly the Matias Tactile Pro 3?

If you tell me the measures of the keys (especially the spacebar and distances of its key mounts) I can make sure it does (if possible).

Quote from: litster;390730

The MODIFIER kit is an add-on kit (similar to what we had in Round 3, just in the current styles), What you mean is the MOD kit which is all the grey stuff in the graphic except for the number block and the function row, but including the \| key.

Rub Out is Delete and is found on Symbolics keyboards in place of Caps Lock.

This is what I had in mind, but I did not find a picture of it.

You can have matching WASD keys and maybe this time we make a doubleshot Cherry key (maybe a bit simplified).

I think it would look better with a lighter green and red for Shift and Control.

All spacebars they can make. Someone at Deskthority investigated on how much it will be to make spacebars in new measures. I will contact him and see how much forward he came about that.

I have a question regarding the Noppoo kit. What all does it include? I see on the "Pricelist" it contains 15 keys, but only lists 11 keys in the description. Also, with the Noppoo kit, is there no way to include the other modifiers that are needed (caps, tab, enter, etc) or does one have to buy the mod kit along with it?

Thank you good sir, I've been looking forward to participating in this.

SP does not have that frog green, but some similar one. Problematic is that they have no violett.

These kits are only add-ons, so you need a standard kit order something like that.

It shows 11 keys also in the price list.

What do you measn with 'later' group buy? This group buy (as the previous did) will work like a vacuum cleaner.

Do you want the color as close as possible to Cherry?
Buy key caps here: Round 5
Buy switches here: CherryMX

Well I only wanted 2 of that key, close to the original Cherry as possible but I won't scrutinize harshly. I meant later group buy just in case there wasn't enough demand but I guess this is going to be relatively big anyway

Could I order just the 2 of this key? I don't really want anything from the other kits

These kits are only add-ons, so you need a standard kit order something like that.

It shows 11 keys also in the price list.

My mistake, I guess I was reading too much into it. Thanks for the clarification.

One more question, do you know when text style and placement will be decided on for the Dark Side kit? That looks pretty cool.

This would be an add-on kit.

There will be red keys saying
ESCAPE
Escape
[/color] and

Escape

in white on red.

ps: Does anybody have the color codes?

7bit,

Here are some better pics if you goto sixty's old thread on DT http://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=614.  Should be easier to color match,  I would bet sixty knows the codes not sure if he will get mad again saying we are copying OTD.  Copying or not its a very very nice looking set and I have no other way of obtaining it.

Im also cool with the lighter green and red aswell.
