No comment as I don't have springs from either vendor. However that begs the question, would users really be swapping out the pre-installed 62g gold spring with some other 62g springs? Do remember that due to the smoothness of the slider & housing, many users will find the 65g or 67g to have a closer resemblance of their currant "62g ergo clears".

You're not alone. I like light switches also, but want as much tactility as possible. I'm going to be trying all kinds of springs in these, including stock Brown springs.

It's unlikely that I'll have the 62g/65g/67g springs listed on my site after the switches are made. The remaining springs in the above listing are the 100-135g sprit springs.

It's unlikely that I'll have the 62g/65g/67g springs listed on my site after the switches are made. The remaining springs in the above listing are the 100-135g sprit springs.

Many of us are purchasing an assortment of switches, so that we can home in on our own, personal Grail. We won't know what we prefer, until we've had a week, or two of testing under our belts. Please maintain a selection of springs for at least a couple of months, so that we can make adjustments, if necessary.

It doesn't come with any LEDs, that sheet is just for 4 pin RGB LEDs that this switch is designed to work with.

It doesn't come with any LEDs, that sheet is just for 4 pin RGB LEDs that this switch is designed to work with.

I like MX Browns.  I think I prefer the tactility and actuation force of MX Blues but I don't like the click.  MX Blacks are too heavy for my taste.  Which Zealios switch would the people who've tried these recommend to me?  And would you recommend lubing them or not?  Also, is using LEDs more trouble than it's worth for a hand-wired keyboard?

For reference, MX Blacks have a bottom out force of roughly 78g-80g.

As for lubing, that is completely up to the end user. Are you one to go for 100% every time, or will 85-90% be good enough? Knowing where to properly lube and how much lube to use is also dependent on your personal tastes so you'll just have to try it and see if it's worth your time.

For backlight, you might consider using Enabler (or similar) PCBs.

Dumb question,  how are 65's compared to MX clears?  I find clears a little too heavy for long distance typing,  but could be heavier than MX Browns.

65g Purple Zealios are what I consider to be the "perfect" ergo-clear switch. Nice, drawn out tactile bump. However this is my own personal opinion, and to each their own. )
