I know we only had two maps, but it got pretty boring pretty quick. I can imagine a few weeks after release, everyone would be using the one "best" loadout. Not sure why they wouldn't have classes.

Imo Battlefront 2 is a much more complete experience and significantly less expensive.
The graphics also still stand the test of time.

I played the better as well and it just felt like a Star Wars themed call of duty. I'm also disappointed that they took out space battles.

I'll still probably ask for the game for Christmas but I'd rather spend my own money on keyboards.

Seriously Battlefront 2 had two full trilogies full of content.
The new one can't even get one trilogy right.

i love BF2 as any old fans do, but saying the graphics stood the test of time is quite a stretch.

watched the progress of this game since Q1.. total catastrophe. by this point i have absolutely no intention of even playing it for free

Nah the beta was a lot of fun, while the Hoth map wasn't super balanced, it was a beta, not a demo so the values can change. The gameplay, graphics and frame-rate where really impressive and I enjoyed my time with it.
My only reservation is the DLC, how they are selling DLC packs/passes for the same price as the full game at launch seems appalling... I would wait till after launch and see what the final product is like content wise

Beautiful game that makes anyone who like star wars want it. But this so hard once you get your hands on it.
