Vietnam mech communities is great, They have around 17,000 members on their group.
In Thailand we don't have mech communities, and most of people don't pay $135 for only keycap set.
Even $70 still too expensive for them.

I know that aftermarket price would crazy af because these sets are very close to best GMK keycap sets have ever made.

From my own personal experience, midnight should never be used as a deadline for anything. It always leads to confusion. Best bet is always to use 11:59 pm. When you use midnight people see the date (5/19 in this case) and assume that they can place an order that day when they cannot. Like when a coupon or similar expires on 5/19 you can use it all day, but when a GB ends at midnight 5/19 you have to have your order in by 5/18. Just a thought for future GBs.

They have credit cards that have a credit limit (which can still be declined if you don't have sufficient limit) that confer credit, and they have credit cards that have a funded limit, which don't confer credit- those are called secured credit cards (https://www.thebalance.com/what-to-know-about-a-secured-credit-card-960956). They are different from debit cards in that 1) debit cards are linked to a backing bank account, 2) debit cards don't require regular payments, and 3) debit cards give you access to the full balance in your account, and secured credit cards don't necessarily give you that.

Any thoughts about doing a mod pack that includes those stellar additional colors on the SA Oblivion buy? Don't have the money after consideration to do the SA buy, so I'd love to try to do the same layout on oblivion....
That is a big part of it, but there are other keys that would be good to add also that are not in the base set, i.e. the git modifiers.

I wanted to but splitting alphas and mods bumped the total price per base by 20$

Yeah, any idea what's going on? Oblotzky's earlier message (on the 6th) stated that a shipment went out to Asia and the one bound for the US was going to go out on Monday, i.e. last Monday.

The asia shipment is different (it was sent via express because of the size).
USA shipment was sent via freight (which means like express, but they deal with pallets and such), so we have to do customs, and freight forwarding.

This is not my GB, so I can't answer definitively, but based on my experience with pas GBs, I'd suggest having your address updated.

On the note of pickups, even though it’s more convenient for the customer to do a local pickup, it takes more time for the vendor because of setting up the time so you know he’ll be there when you arrive.
It’s also more secure for them since they may not know who you are or what your motives may be, no offense. There are also quite a few people in the LA area so you can imagine that if a handful of people ask to do local pickup it can break their shipping rhythm and slow down their shipping of the rest of the orders.
I only mention this because I’ve asked Jchan about doing local pickup in the past. We’ll get our sets soon just sit tight. :)

I'd bet he didn't ship any today. He has been saying he'd ship for the past two weeks now. No one has said they got shipping conf. I know he spent some time today on the faux-BKE dome stuff; maybe he didn't have time for this. I just really want my set and am starting to be bummed by the delays. I am usually patient, but with group buys, I feel that merchants have an obligation to ship out the merchandise within a few days of receiving it from the manufacturer. Edit: especially when it's a vendor, rather than just a community member doing it for the love. I really didn't start to get bummed about this until today -- I think the two weeks is hard to swallow. :-[

Agreed. I just don't get it. There's several "I'm working on it today/Just did it" messages, and yet nothing has actually gotten done as far as I can tell.
I mean... I don't want to tell you how to run your business but... you're running a business. We've had our money tied up in this set for over 6 months at this point and the hard part (manufacturing) is finished. Let's get those sets over the finish line and into people's hands :thumb:

given it took me more than two months to achieve a dead simple task of changing the shipping address to my new place by PM-ing him on reddit for lengthy amount of time,
this complete lack of communication and comical amount of shipping delays does not surprise me at all. it's confirmed he does not even check official support email inbox.
no matter what product they bring, my money will never go through keyclack nor JC, just my humble opinion purely based on how i treated as a customer.
also good luck if you have to change your shipping address at the last minute because oh boy, i forgot to count how many times I've reminded him to update mine.

That's just bad business. It was quoted on the site that 2-3 days before shipping was to be expected; if that can't be delivered on, why even make the promise in the first place?
I'm sure he's busy, but I'd rather hear what's actually happening, rather than what he thinks we want to hear.

GB runner(s) received the caps some 3 years ago and still have a couple that need to be shipped out.
I know the wait sucks, I'm waiting for several GB's myself that were supposed to ship out already, but it will be worth it. I don't doubt that jchan will deliver.

I'm used to group buy delays; massdrop's planck and xda canvas (lol at Godspeed and GMK Laser), and Ultimate Hacking Keyboard. Getting something within a 6 month timeframe is considered good news to me! I'm not surprised at all by Oblivion getting pushed back a little while all of the other group buys jchan has / had to ship that are or were still ongoing, especially M65-A and 1965.
@jchan: not all of us are so impatient. Thank you for running this group buy and helping to make MOQ happen with the extra orders.

Hydro, and many other group buys that were hosted on Keyclack (new or old) have worked like this.
Hydro over a year, we purchased extra, and had the extras available throughout the buy (even up until and after delivery).

Other than that, the other packages are packed, tracking has been sent, and packages are now waiting for pickup.
The pick up will be throughout next week, as this takes up a lot of space. We've already requested that a bigger truck comes to pick these up, but we're not sure if that request will be fulfilled.

TL;DR If you paid less than 150 euro, you pay MwSt (19%) extra, if it's more then you may have to pay extra import fee that should be very small (never had to do that so not sure).

Do you have a different spacebar you could try to compare? Might be a problem with the stabilizers/switch rather than the cap.

My set looks just fine. I have white alphas though, if that makes any difference. Definitely strange.

hi so i received the sets and mounted the caps on a kb. i noticed that the ansi Return key and the default (6.25x i think) spacebar sit lower than any other key of their respective rows. that is , the spacebar key travel distance is smaller than they alt, ctrl etc. it bottoms out on the same height , but rests lower. as for the enter key, same thing. it sits actually even lower than the spacebar key compared to the respective row keys. it doesnt feel right when pressed in all the way. travel distance is too small. anyone else has the same issue?

Yes indeed.the caps are just fine and they fit on my other ajazz ak33 kb just fine. Im trying to swap switches atm. I have everything soldered so i cant change stabs. The backspace position is fine. Same height as the others too. Its just return and spacebar. To clarify:
Left means, Your Order is Processed (which is what you see as well)
Failed means, "There's an address issue. I can't generate a label".
You don't see the "failed" part on your side as that's a "my side" thing

Nope no update at all, and no change in order status. Total radio silence, despite multiple emails to both jchan@keyclack.com or support@keyclack.com. The only time I got a response was after making some noise here earlier, and unfortunately, it's been back to stone cold silence. There's been no feedback if the address I resupplied was successful or not, heck, not even a single simple acknowledgement to any of my emails to him.

I bought some keycaps from a guy in Australia that took around 30 days; twenty of which the tracking was never updated. I ordered something from Japan that took even longer and wasn't updated.
Worst part is many shipments lately have had wrong tracking numbers, so you're likely to unexpectedly find it on your doorstep one day.
The fact that jchan seems to be ignoring people concerns me though. Makes me cautious of ever ordering through keyclack again.

Keycaps arrived at Keyclack on 30th October. Nearly 4 weeks later and my set still hasn’t left...
More than 2 months later and my keycaps is still nowhere to be seen.
EDIT : keycaps finally arrived last week.
