So either they copied Filco, or vice versa:

New Pure:

New Filco Minila:

It is at least better than the ficlo's... DAT SPACEBAR

Copy what, the layout? I don't see any hints of copying between those two going on seriously.

I'd say the vortex is superior because it doesn't have the stupid top bezel...

Yep, it's better laid out than the MINILA, although I still would prefer a bigger spacebar.
Is this thing programmable after all?

Kinesis Contoured Advantage & Advantage2 LF with Cherry MX Red switches / Extra keys mod / O-ring dampening mod / Dvorak layout. ErgoDox with buzzer and LED mod.
Also: Kinesis Advantage Classic, Kinesis Advantage2, Data911 TG3, Fingerworks Touchstream LP, IBM SSK (Buckling spring), Goldtouch GTU-0077 keyboard

That may be true, but I think the filco is most likely built better, judging from their previous products.

They are almost similar, that's the comparison I was making. It just struck me as odd that they came out at almost the same time, with almost the same layout.

I don't have the time or patience to be doing that on a mobile device, but thanks for sharing...

It's a real pain in the ass on an iPad, honestly. At least for that many quotes. More work than I care to do

It's also being discussed in this thread: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=37444.0

The Pure Pro is also going to be known as the Poker Pro, difference being the layouts, ANSI and ISO. There is also rumored to be other versions of the Pure/Poker, eg No LED's and PBT.

There is a video of the 67key ISO Pure here: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=37444.msg794528#msg794528 No comprende. Feel free to summarize.
That's something different. RCtrl is where grave/tilde used to be. Also note the crappy illumination on the enter key. Switch location and where they made the legend is incompatible.

That may be true, but I think the filco is most likely built better, judging from their previous products.
Both of them are not using their previous manufacturer. So quality on both will be subpar.
