Well, it's a Poker.  There's no Fn keys in the set and no way to turn the right Fn into an Alt.  I don't have any blanks, so what was a guy to do?

I already have the left Windows key set to Fn...so it kinda just makes sense.

Oh yeah...People ordered blanks.  I guess if somebody has 2-3 blank modifiers to sell, I'm in the market to buy...there's a handful of "extras" in the set if you're using a TKL or smaller...

why didnt u just put the normal alt/windows/menu/ctrl? looks less weird than 2 windows keys on one side imo

Because having an Alt keycap where there is no Alt functionality is really stupid, imo.

I get that people are in it for looks.  I guess to some degree, so am I...but having an Alt there would both confuse and annoy.

Well, as I said if somebody has extra blanks they don't want, I'm buying.

Anyhow, these caps are getting moved to some other board in the future anyway.  I have other keycaps coming in for this Poker but I wanted to show them off.

Ok I have bad news for the subgroup buy I was in charge of. I was a little anxious to receive these myself, so I sent imsto a PM asking for tracking number since it seemed quite a while now and people that ordered later are already receiving them. It turns out he had not even shipped them out yet, so basically our orders just sat there for almost 3 weeks now. He said he'll get to it right away this week. I was pretty disappointed to hear that. Makes me wonder if I never sent that nag PM, when he would actually be shipped out.

Suppose to get these like a week ago, but 3 weeks later and it hasn't even moved :tsk:

Don't feel too bad about it.  Mine got picked up only on the 11th and I got them in my hands today (though I expedited).  Shipping does not take long on these and mine hit three US cities on their way to me.

I ordered shortly before y'all...we picked a particularly bad time to order with the New Year and all.

My blues just arrived today.  These look GREAT.

Going to get my stepped Caps Lock modded.

(Attachment Link) 40436 (Attachment Link) 40437

These have quite a nice feel to them.

It seems you got the one with the old design, but with the Windows keys aligned to the left, which looks stupid IMO. Check the TAB key.
Also the font looks a bit thinner on your set, especially on the Capslock key, but maybe that is just the picture.

What?  What I got matches imsto's pictures/taobao.  I don't see how imsto sold me anything else in this group buy other than what was advertised.

you get defensive way too quick.

all he said is that imsto tweaked the design a bit and you have the older one compared to lightout's newer tab.

Ahh...not particularly concerned with that.  I like the design of the Tab key that I have now better actually...though I get why the design was changed.  There's a slight blotch of dye on the edge of the key, outside of the printing.  It's hard to notice unless you're looking straight at it but there nonetheless.

the inconsistency of these sets is really a bummer.

i mean i still want a red set, but i wish they'd settle on a design and produce them all like that.

The set on imsto's pictures/taobao has centered windows keys. They should have kept it like that.
Also check the backspace key.

So it does.  Meh.  I'm glad I hadn't noticed that sooner.  Hate horizontally-centered modifiers unless they're custom artwork.  My function row keys are centered.  I'm happy as a clam.

I agree, except for the windows and the app keys. Those should be centered according to the original design/license.

Could you take a picture of the navigating cluster keys and the F-key row?

Yeah, that really concerns me.. I don't like surprises when I have to pay over US $100 for a single set of keycaps.
It would be nice to know what to expect prior ordering, unless they accepted custom requests.

[ Attachment Invalid Or Does Not Exist ] 40460  Here's a picture of everything else not on the board now.  Seems I got an extra set of modifiers?

Edit: in fact, there's a difference in the printing of the two sets of modifiers.  One is definitely more "bold" than the other.  just took the "lighter" Ctrl/Alt/Win/App keys off my board.

Thanks for the picture.

I'm glad they fixed the alignment issue on the Print Screen, Scroll Lock and Pause.

Unfortunately it is not just on the modifiers. The font on your whole set looks thinner compared to Lightsout714's bolder one. It's easy to catch the difference on the capslock, F-keys. It's a bit harder to catch on the home cluster, but it is definitely there.

Aye.  After a glance, likewise.  I'm really happy overall with the set that I got.  Only issue was when I first got it, the Left Shift key was sticking when I'd push the left side of it down but now that's gone away...That might just be the Poker though with some keycaps...other people have said the same things (stock PBT caps had no issue but they're taller).

I did notice some white residue on some caps. Not sure if it's from the manufacturing process.
