So not the first to get the package, besides the thread starter, but first time to post: second!

The photos so far imho look better than the renders, and renders never look bad, not? Can confirm the impression from the photos as well. So congrats to a terrific job! I am still working, so replacing one key every 5 minutes to go under the radar:). Just got GMK Minimal the week before, and didn't like those mods, and used the GMK WoB mods instead. But the contrast was a bit stark, so now I start with the Arctic mods, which so far have a lovely dark/gray or light/black impression.. First time for me with JTK, but feeling wise they can hold with GMK. Looking forward for how the whole set looks on the silver WKL aluminium board (ah, or do I need a black Polaris...

)..

Cheers (sorry, no photos from me to be expected..).. but a happy camper so far..PS.

PS. Oh, not important - hopefully, but the keys are mega tight.. with the Kailh Box Whites I had slight worries for my OG Doubleshots, but here I feel a bit sorry for the Gateron Black stems

P.P.S. And another not important detail, the two plastic hard cases are miles ahead to the GMK plastic covers, not because of stability, but convenience to open them.. Just wanted to mention it, as said, first time JTK user..

Okay, finally got my set! Looks absolutely amazing irl, renders and samples looked nice but this set looks WAY better in person. Here are some crappy photos I took from my phone (I suck at photography too).
P.S so relieved that it turned out good, I was kinda anxious recently that it might not look as good. Super glad to be wrong.

Sorry, just the mods.. They look too dark on the photo, I would say much nicer in real shadow office environment. Dark, but clearly not black. And not as light as Honeywell mods. Something nice and new. Alphas are GMK Minmal here, which look warmer in real.. The Arctic white looks very nice, actually a tad cooler than Minimal. without being extreme like WS2 or cheap looking like ePBT BoW..

Yeah the white used doesn't show much yellowing like WS1 but is still not super white like WS2, it's a good medium.

Can you do me a favor and PM me the comparisons between WS1 and the Arctic White?

Also yeah, the stems seem really tight, but they look to have been worn in after I put them on the switches. I think the stems just may be softer than usual GMK as it looks like the stem is a part of the doubleshot process.

yeah i sent him a message around that same time Mcnos stated kf told him shipping notices should be going out but never got a reply.

If I remember correctly you can get them on either taobao or aliexpress but don't have the link anymore. I'll ask around and see if I can dig it up.

Would it be possible to get the shipper to check the tracking on the shipment to Kono? It was shipped to them in July. It's September. I'm curious if it's really still in transit, or if what we're now waiting on is Kono's fulfillment warehouse. I was in another group buy with Kono where there was an unusually long time between when Kono received it and when they started shipping. I'd like to know if that's still happening.

Yeah, I'm sorry..kono is pretty ass. The couple times I've dealt with them was really delayed or handled really poorly. Not sure if any project they had their hands on went smoothly/timely haha.

I had a good experience with Kono with Shoko but that's my only interaction with them. Rest of my impressions were from the dramafest they had with Massdrop which made me very hesitant to buy shoko from them.

I now don't see the point in buying from anyone other than zFrontier if they are the originator of the product. US proxies are slower and unreliable as of late. After watching my co-worker go through the Kira debacle, and their muck up on this keyset, I don't think I'll be buying from Kono again.
