My Purple Quickfire TK
« on: Sat, 27 September 2014, 17:55:00 »
This is my purple Quickfire TK with custom LEDs, and soon to be either Vortex white PBT side printed or Vortex white PBT backlit keycaps. I will update the pics when my keycaps arrive. Sorry these pics were taken with a potato.

That's the most customised TK I have ever seen!

Looks sweet :D

With those LEDs, you could almost forgive CM's legends ;)

It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks! I would really like to paint the plate either white or black, but that would require so much soldering... I think I am changing space back to red, or maybe to blue...

My white front printed PBT caps should arrive on saturday, I will probably post updated pics sometime over the weekend.

Very nice :)

Is that metallic red?  Or just how the photo turned out?

Sad that most men don't seem to like purple. :( I love it though, it looks great!
