They're shipped together usually.  Eagle/Viper group buy was a bit different as there were so many orders..

These will be ready to ship in about 3 months.

For ordering, should we specify the color in the comments?

The plate allows all 4 options, but will the circuit board layout differ between the options? (i.e. should we specify our desired option in the order?)

So collecting in December means shipping in March? I ask because I may be moving some time before then. Changing shipping address won't be a problem, right?

What colour? Only 4 colours are offered and it is in the order form.  ;)

The PCB and plate supports all layouts.  You choose which layout to configure when you solder your switches.

3 months starting this week.  You can always PM me to change your address before they ship.  I will notify everyone by posting here when they are ready to ship.

So in 3 months they will be shipping to our locations unless we encounter any orobles during production?

Yes.

Are you sure? PM me with full confidence.

Red isn't so popular.  In Viper/Eagle group buy there were around 80 orders and only 3-4 of them were red..well it is another choice and people love more choices.  :thumb:

I would be all over this if it didn't have such a huge angle on the case. Ski slope typing. :)

can't you just add the bump ons on the bottom part to lower it's angle?

On the front?  Then the keys would be really high.

I really think the angle has been over-exaggerated in discussions, and I've posted this sentiment before, but it's not an issue at all with my LightSaver.  The front is quite low, and the keyboard can be used very comfortably without a wrist rest.  Combine with something like Cherry profile caps, and it's a pleasant typing experience.  My LZ-GH has a lower angle, but switches sit higher off the desk surface due to the thick "slab" of a case + feet, so it either requires a wrist rest or very low profile keycaps, like DSA for me to type comfortably.  Currently using Cherry profile, and it's not as nice as DSA was (but I love Cherry profile, so it's a sacrifice I was willing to make).  Angle is just one aspect of overall ergonomics.

Thanks for that. My new love for SA caps may make this too tall though. The angle is almost double that of a filco (for comparison).

I don't find angle in general to be that big of a deal. The angle on my 456GT is crazy but it's easy to get used to. I wish it wasn't quite so steep but I love the keyboard anyway  :)

yes, blue grey. there are blue-grey lightsaver photos on ducks site. most of the blue-grey seems to come out pretty consistent like whentheclouds says.
in regards to angle, I was talking to a friend about ergonomics today and I daily drive a lightsaver.
if your desk is set up so you're properly elevated above the keys, the angle is nice to type on. The height of the case is not restricting without a wrist rest.
I sit with my arms at a 90 degree angle when resting at my sides, hands on the table top. So they're SLIGHTLY inclined while typing.
It won't be comfortable for everyone, but for me it's okay.
A wrist rest might be necessary if you're more used to looser angles.
note: im using cherry profile.

I'm having a similar issue.

My Viper is blue-grey, silver is classic, black looks good with everything and red is rare.

A good decision to have to make though.
