Yes. Also, paid marketing firm accounts really need to identify themselves as such when they register here.

I'm not saying that RoastPotatoes is or is not getting paid for doing marketing for SP/PMK. But there has been at least one account recently that is a paid marketer.

@RoastPotatoes: your blog is interesting. I've never seen it before today.

Thanks for the feedback on my blog @jdcarpe and @yomammary. I really appreciate it. I am actually quite surprised about the reaction. /r/mk seems to be a little hostile to my posts and they seem to be getting downvoted so I was a little nervous about the reaction on geekhack.
In all honesty I replied to this post as I thought it would be a good opportunity to do something with a well established company that is known in the community. I thought it might give me some exposure and possible bring me to new heights. Although I was worried how it would be received if I was just promoting a product. However it has been an interesting experience, doing something a little more 'official' on my blog.

I really do appreciate your feedback on my blog though :)

Cell phone interfaces care more about good looks than good usability.  It doesn't translate well to a real keyboard.  That's probably why Material Metaphor won't even tip while thousands are piling on for a similar set on MD
