Awesome bud!

In for a normal 60% if you can get a nice 60% PCB that runs TMK and has LEDs.

Can you engrave something cool on the weight?

I'm looking to get a nice 75% and missed out on Octagon as well. Definitely interested!
edit: I think someone else is running a hhkb case interest check as well, not sure how different yours would be.

This looks fantastic. The first render looks like it will support an arrow cluster on the bottom right  :thumb:.

Would love to see the controller chip on a seperate board, think Teensy/Adafruit Feather/etc. This would raise the cost, but also means we can add our own controller and write our own firmware. What do you think?

Would it be possible to make the 60% keyboards support premade PCBs like the GH60 or NerD 60? You mentioned the lack of cutouts for the USB connection, and I figured that's the only thing you need to modify to fit the 60% PCB standard.

Would also be interested in engraving something neato for the weight  ^-^

I'd prefer a 60%/HHKB layout for this board.

Personally, having a RGB diffuser like the one present on Duck's Blackbird would be great.

Would be down for a hhkb layout, or if it's even an option to vote for arrowed 60%.

I don't like how the bottom is just an angled square extending the front tbh tho.
Throwing in another angle on the back would make the design look a lot more elegant.

Hubble Mira has a angled bottom in the opposite direction for example.

Can you engrave something cool on the weight?
Once I figure out what to put, sure.

Would any of them accommodate an RGB diffuser?
Accommodated!

Depending on the layout it's unlikely but I'll make sure to use a PCB that supports customization.

WKL 60% please.
Done.

60% PCBs are universal so it will support the standard 60% PCB.

The renders look like it has a steep angle on it -- what's the angle of the board?
8 degrees.

Other than the USB location, the plate is mounted to the sides of the case, rather than the PCB being mounted to the bottom of the case. So that would need to be modified as well but I think this was done for increased rigidity. Same as how you see it on the TKL ones.

I'll throw it out there as it's been mentioned a couple of times.

These are two very different cases. His is a normal 60% mounting style, with the PCB screwing into the case, identical for the traditional 60%. My PCB mounts to the plate, which mounts to the top case, similar to the great customs. His aim is to replicate the HHKB case but for MX whereas mine is just because people like the layout. Finally price points are completely different. To quote him "the goal is sub 100". Mine is a lot, lot more.

I'm going to be putting a questionnaire up in a few hours, it'll help if people fill it out.

Questionnaire is live. All but a couple of questions are optional, so only answer the questions you think are relevant (although I'd appreciate you answering all questions).

I finished a complete remodel of the 60% form factors and will be doing a 75% remodel tomorrow. The remodel is just to make sure everything is working properly.
