I'm kind of new in here.

My question is, how long do I have to wait?
i.e. For an Interest-Check like this one, assume the samples are decent and just need some fine-tuning, and then go onto scheduled production with a group-buy.
How much more time should I expect before (or when on the calendar in 2016 or 2017) I can have these caps in front of me ready for installation on my HHKB?

I know there are many tests of patience and gambles in GH, when compared to acquiring a keyboard in the consumer market outside.

Of course. Our 1st sample comes in soon.

Then we confirm the structure and quality of plastic.

After that, the factory will texturize it it.

Confirm again (send out samples to people).

then hit production if all goods. Should take 3 weeks or so for this process.

I am not sure if it was mentioned in this thread anywhere but there is one major problem that might occur with the RF sets...

The ctrl/caps in the bottom left hand corner has a different slider - it is rotated. You will need to probably have a separate cast for this one key (sorry if this was mentioned somewhere).

Haha I think it's our inner kid wanting to take it apart.

Well ,  our current status is that the V1 come in on Tuesday without texturozation done. After that, we'll have the new samples shipped on November 10.

I'll take some potatoe photos tonight of everything I have. I have to make a few adjustments to the mold itself.

It would be awesome if you could include full HHKB alphas in this GB. In fact, I think Topre alphas are way harder to come by than mods.

Here's a photo. Some issues:

1) Bottom left Ctrl had issues with the stem (it was 90* tho)
2) Some other stems had issues with keeping straight (noticable on right side)
3) Some sink marks are noticeable (ribs).

We're addressing these issues and we'll have it finalized within a week or two.

Ah Yee. Well,  it was rotated but didn't fit properly was the issue. We're getting a new mold update this week.

Yessir.  I won't have this done improperly.

The molding takes time and updating the mold is annoying but of course,  necessary in order to make this the right way.

The plastics factory is currently bogged down because of the season, but they said they'd push an update this week or early next.

Mold is being fixed again to double check tolerances. I told them to redo it. It was annoying seeing the 1st samples so double checking is necessary.

As the title is "Set for RF/HHKB" and the mold makes the full set in one go (see the OP), I'm going to say it's highly unlikely.
