I am eagerly waiting on this one but have a question, can we get the plastic color codes listed? I know that HTML RGB Color don't match up exactly and I'd like to get a better idea. I'm asking mostly because I'm color coordinating a custom case and cable to match for when I get the keys.

You okay with people buying multiple sets evangs?

I've seen some group buys where it's not allowed, but I figured as you're also offering Alps it might be worth at least buying a set of each stem type..

Think of it this way: your ErgoDox was only half a keyboard without the right keycaps. It is only natural to spend another $100-150 on the other half...

Could you provide a photo of the V60 mini in the Pok3r case, but viewed from the bottom? I'm curious what the 6-DIP switch block looks like given the small size of the window provided on the Pok3r case.

Sorry it took me so long to respond.  I didn't get a photo but I stuck it in there to check and it looks like it blocks off the #1 DIP switch :(

Tex case fits fine though

Does the blocked DIP switch prevent the case from fitting onto the board though? Once I have the switches set, I don't really need access to them again, so I'm not concerned about one of them being blocked. I only care that I can fit the board into the Lambo case properly and securely.

It fits, yes.  I don't know about the Lambo case because it depends on how deep of a pocket is under the PCB, right?  If it was designed to fit very close to the bottom with the dip switches protruding way out, it would be an issue.  But the poker case has a bit of room so that the dip switches don't make contact with the case (or if they do it was unnoticeable and still fit perfectly).  I figure with the height and angle of the lambo there will be plenty of room.

These will be made by SP so they'll use Cherry cruciform stab inserts.

Can't currently dyesub lighter colors onto darker bases, unfortunately, and SA isn't set up for doubleshot PBT as far as I know.

If 5-sided inverse dye sub (dying a lighter cap on all sides and leaving the legend un-dyed) looks good, I think this may no longer be an issue.  However, I haven't see the end result of this process yet.  I think MC Rebirth (modifiers) will be the first mainstream run out there.  Also there was the Green SA clone set being produced in China with the process (the infamous SCOROLL LOCK key set!)

10 weeks after GB closes. Then it should be shipping to us around May 31st, if everything goes smoothly.

We are hours away from this opening. I have to confess, I'm excited. This will be my first GB outside of Mass or Kickstart and it's my first foray into keycaps. Is there a max that will be able to be produced? I plan on getting in as soon as it opens so I shouldn't miss out but I was curious.

SUPER EXCITED, can't wait to get my set.

Just wondering if there are gonna be any price drops for MOQ on this set?

I'm still gonna pick up a set anyways but might pick up two sets if there is a price drop.

Wow, I was hoping for better numbers on day one, but this also has no post in the actual GroupBuy forum and hasn't been listed on the currently running list which might put it in the eyes of a few more buyers, and Friday is yet to come, which is when most get paid so there is still hope.

Evangs, did you get any complaints in R1 about the double shot implementation?

From this thread:

https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=87816.msg2374448#msg2374448

Quote:
My only experience with dsa alps was the lightcycle set that came with my minivan - and it was delicate as can be. I ripped a couple stems off just trying to remove a cap from the switch and from what I could tell, the doubleshot did not adhere like it should to both colors. Wouldn't be a problem with blanks though if i'm correct in diagnosing the problem but i'd definitely be weary of buying more sets especially if they were SP priced.
My V80 has some kinda costar type stabs but with out normal mounts. It definitely is a standards problem getting a mod set that works for everyone.

I got a couple complaints, but there were a lot of people who didn't complain. I have yet to get a set myself so I can't actually speak to it myself. A friend of mine got the alps MiniVan and he reported no issues, so I don't know if people were just new to alps tightness or if there is actually an issue.

Well, I think it would be alarming to anyone to learn that it is even possible for the two shots to become separated simply from pulling force while trying to remove keycaps from switch sliders (Alps or otherwise).
