Is that same as a planck layout?

<-
I'll fix my question.
Are the 'planck pcb' and 'ACE-XT40' cases compatible?
The picture shows that the screw hole positions of the aluminum plate are the same.

Can I order without PCB and use my own Planck PCB?

Is that same as a planck layout?

The layout options here include the two planck layouts, but I understand there's a differenct PCB.

So your PCB has gone through the SMT process? And does it support the led function?

The USB port and maybe even the mounting holes appear to be in the same spot as the planck. Could one use a planck pcb? im not a hug fan of bootmapper.

It is not compatible. The Winkeyless Bootmapper client is much less daunting than QMK for someone with no keyboard programming experience.

I have been longing for a high profile case for Planck. The Chinese deliver and are quick.
A few important question for me:

1. Can there be also stainless steel plates order?
It is made by the same machine that is going to create the Alu plates I think.

2. On the PCB, Are the pin hole size for the switches identical to that of other Winkeyless PCBs?
Winkeyless PCBs are compatible for hotswap modifications using Holtites with their pin hole size.

3 Are the chipsets and software identical to Winkeyless PCBs? QMK is porting to WKL.
Wishlist: 1) nice thick Alps caps; 2) Cherry profile POM;
More
Wishful-list: 1) We order from keyboard-layout-editor.com; 2) usable Trackpoint module for all keyboards
IBM M13 black
NeXT non-ADB keyboard (AAE)
HHKB Pro 2 HasuBT

1. No, the Stainless steel version is not available this time.
2. I think you are talking about the two types of Holtite sockets sold on https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=88193.0.
The hole size for the switch pin is 1.7mm, as we never test it on board. We are not sure for this. I have PMed jal for the size. It is still possible to  make modification as production hasn't started.
For the LED socket, You can use the one as pic given
3. Yes, The pcb uses same chipset and software as Winkeyless PCBs.  For porting, theoretically you can achieve the same effect.
Hope i have clarified your concern

About your #2 answer:

For your information, the mounting holes for switch hotswap Holtite receptacles is 1.47mm
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/8134-HC-8P2/A114358-ND/2188091
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/8134-HC-8P3/A114359-ND/1151726

For the LED hotswap Holtite receptacles is 1.04mm
http://www.digikey.de/product-detail/en/te-connectivity-amp-connectors/6-1437514-7/6-1437514-7-ND/2135766?cur=EUR&lang=en

I am not sure if it is better to have the PCB pin holes slightly larger or slightly smaller, but if it is too large the Holtites will fall through, too small doesn't work either. Here is a compatibility table (although there are some conflicting reports about fitting online):

I'd actually say that the Minivan case looks better than this one, it's just around 2x the price.

Interesting choice using ps2avrGB based PCB. I don't think it would be able to even emulate the default Planck layout.

On the other hand, the case looks cool. But I need to know if it can be used flat. Is the 5 deg angle optional?

The default Planck layout has 7 layers, ps2avr only got 4 layers max. Default Planck support switching default layer between qwerty, dvorak and colemak; AFAIK, ps2avr can't change default layout. Default Planck uses raise+lower to switch to ADJUST layer; I don't think this can be easily accomplished in ps2avr. Default Planck outputs _ and + (shifted state), this would require complicated macro in ps2avr.

Recent QMK has ps2avr support, and with it, it should support the default Planck layout. But why not go all the way and use atmega32u4 instead? We'd get all the features and easy programming using qmk.sized.io.

... I don't think it would be able to even emulate the default Planck layout. ...

What do you mean by that?

What aspects of the default Planck layout you are referring to?

If Bface bothers you but you like the deisgn of this case, feel free to use the Plank PCB instead.

Is the plate compatible with both Matias and MX switches?
Some guys keep on saying they believe in Jesus, and keep doing a lot of shameful things.

Does the plate support switch top removal? How much does the case by itself weigh? It's astounding that the package will be 2kg.

Do you have a timeline for how long this GB will take until it is finished?

To ensure the switch could sit in the pcb firmly, it does not support. I received the update from the designer, the package will be around 1.5 KG and SF express international is used for delivery which provides better service than EMS(normally 3-5 days depending on the location)

With sufficient amount of solder, basically anything would sit firmly...

Forgot to sign up until right now. If it's not too late, I'd love an invoice.
