Is there any way to find out if we're one of the delayed orders? I guess if we haven't received a tracking num yet? I only ordered silents so guessing mine will be delayed.

Tap tap is this thing on?

Pretty safe assumption to make. If you haven't gotten a tracking number it's probably delayed.

Thank you yea I figured, did they give any indication as to when the delayed orders would ship?

Mine was one of the ones that shipped :-X I have my tracking number
I just got mine as well, the silents are on the move!!!

Since I didn't get a tracking number I assume that my Silent Reds are also delayed. For how long will they be delayed?

Hi,

I've only got one keyboard with them. And they haven't been available anywhere else.

EDIT: OK technically 2 keyboards but I don't really count the corsair one.

No, we don't.
We asked screw stabs with Cherry representative.
They told us this is not their product.

GMK produces the screw in stabs

Now that I'm here anyways I can also ask a question. Will leftovers be listed on your shop?

Got my MX silent's today and at least as far as I can tell they feel like they're the "new" cherry switches since they feel smoother than some blacks I bought new a few years ago.

I find this odd. I bought a filco with silent reds a few months ago and they are definitely the scratchiest switches I've ever tried.  I like them, but smooth is the last term that comes to mind.  Maybe mine were somehow old stock?

My guess is that sometime after silents came out they updated the molds because these have the same glass feeling that I get with gaterons, minus the wobble. Feeling wise, wobble itself has never bothered me but sometimes, with GMK or DSA, I'll feel the switch "catch" halfway down.

The fact that there are some silent switches are not smooth is a very bad news! All the silent switches that I have tried were very smooth. I hope that the switches from the gb are the smooth ones!

I remember reading a long debate about switch lubing and coming away with the idea that there is some benefit, but that the lube eventually all wears off down into the switch leaving you with the same scratchiness.

I've never lubed my switches, but did once lube my cherry stabilizers.  It was quite a revolutionary experience and I have now gone back and lubed all of the stabilizers on all of my boards.   Perhaps I need to try switch lubing.

After a few months of use re-open the switches, clean every 'oily' and dusty surface with a q-tip as best as you can and re-lube them. I can't be arsed to retrieve the link right now, sorry.

You call lubing stabs 'revolutionary'? Holy s*, you should have seen my G80's, that was more of a mandatory work than revolutionary. XD

If you're going for looks go ahead. They can look pretty nice with some clear switch tops. As far as affecting switch feel, they don't do anything.

They were supposed to be going into this board

But I botched the desoldering this go round and I have another Satan in the mail...

At the very least, what I've felt of them is that they are smooth.

Hi,

any update on those Silenced Reds?

From the round 3 thread, he mentioned that the silent reds will be shipping in two weeks along with the silent blacks from round 3.

Hi,
There's a issue for silent red.
Silent black is deliver earlier.
But representative inform us silent red will has another week delay.
Which means the rest of orders will ship around late June.
And they made a mistake for RGB silver as well.
Seems Cherry shipped 51NN instead of 51NA.
So there's another week delay for silver as well.
But for most order contains silver only should already sent.
