Man I wish I hadn't jumped on the Massdrop Planck GB... reckon I'll sell it when it arrives and get on the Anvil GB. How soon do you think that will start after Bullet ends?

Oh, good to see the buy going, great price. How does the white anoidizing work, didn't think it was really possible? Also, what is the black EDP plate?

Thanks man!

Anvil will be made to fit OLKB plate so you can sell just your casing from previous Planck's GB. Honestly I still don't know when exactly Anvil will start, but one thing for sure it is right after Bullet.

Thanks mate, really appreciate your participation :thumb:

It's not white like the pic I post on OP (the one on OP is powder coated). I write it 'silver white' because it's less silver compared to the silver of MacBook. EDP is powder coat process, the texture is a bit grainy, it usually used on firearms/airsoft gun. I'll post pics of the plate today, just got them in.

If you don't have spesific keyset in mind, I said go for spacegray, it's the most versatile one :thumb:

I actually liked the white powder coat on your prototype a lot and would go for that if it were available.
The lightest anodise sample seems pretty good in the picture but I feel I might find it too silvery/grey in person. Do you have the sample available to possibly take additional pictures in different lighting conditions or something?

I'm thinking to add the powder coat option too since it had been researched so why not offer it? Will properly photograph the chips again tomorrow and update the form. And you're right, if white is what we seek, no anodize will come close to white powder coat!

I believe senter is asking if the white color is done with micro arc oxidation (also known as Plasma electrolytic oxidation) which is a similar process to anodizing.

Ah I see. The one on gallery is done with Powder Coat, not anodize. The only way to achieve real white on aluminum is through powder coat.

Yep space gray is better. For a rule of thumb, generally it always be better to match the case color with alpha color, instead of modifier color.

When your say "upgrades" for the plate does that mean you will get that plate instead of the regular SS one? Or are they actually "extras" meaning you get both?

So is there just a universal plate that can handle both MIT and Grid layouts? I don't see a distinction in the form. If this has already been asked I apologize as I didn't see it.

The first, you are not going to get additional plate. But you can add more plates/PCB if you write it on the note :)

Done!

Those plates look interesting, what layouts are those plates made for?

The plate we will get is univerasl one, I designed it myself to accomodate Grid, MIT (but it can only use Cherry PCB stab), and even 1.25u bottom row—yes OLKB PCB support 1.25–1.25–1.25–1.25–2–1.25–1.25–1.25–1.25 or 1.25–1.25–1.25–1.25–1–1–1.25–1.25–1.25–1.25 bottom row!

Sorry if the Black EDP make it looks like the plate have options, the Black EDP is OLKB plate which I use for EDP sample.

When is the white painted option going to be added to the form?

I've updated it now, the photograph will added later after I get the red powder coat (I left it at my friend's house..)

You will need switches, keycaps and a cable. Yes the plate is Mx and Alps compatible, so it does support zealios which are a mx variant.
