Looks nice and clean, but a bit expensive for just a bolt mod, clean and paint.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Price is ridiculous.  The plate's nice and all, but you're not going to see it, and the vinyl wrap looks kind of crappy.

Not sure why anyone would lube (dry or otherwise) the "flippers".

But with all that work, the seller made one brutally obvious mistake (or two depending on how you look at it).

It is interesting looking though.  However, am I wrong in thinking that spraying any kind of lube on model M flippers is likely to be a source of trouble down the road?

You can buy nos Lexmark industrial cases from unicomp so  that's probably what's going on there. It's cool, but there's no real value added besides the cleaning and bolt modding. Leds are interesting, I think red or yellow would do it better.
