Agree that the acrylic or poly bottom would look cheap. I am in for brass bottom or anything tougher

Double-sided tape?
I worry about how well the screw threads in the plastic will hold up from repeated disassembly and assembly through the years. It will be the first thing to go imo.

What's threaded is the brass plate. The plastic bottom merely has holes drilled into it for the screws to go through...
The only 60% board i'm ever planning to buy so BRASS BOTTOM option please.
Very nice case and design However, I wish there was an option for a full brass/alu bottom. For those who do not want/need the underglow.
Is this happening?
There won't have threads in the PC plate. It has to be a through hole.Or not able to put the parts together. And I've tried to make the screw very tight.and will try it several times more, check if it will crack.

Screw and washer?
Quote from: MxBlue on Wed, 24 January 2018, 15:50:56How will the weight be fixed? Screw and washer?Threaded holes in the brass plate, through-holes in the polycarbonate bottom, and countersunk screws (or pan/caphead screws) most likely!

These look really nice. Great job!Are there any photos of the board with keycaps installed so we can see how inset they are?

Great job!Are there any photos of the board with keycaps installed so we can see how inset they are?If what are you wanting to know is whether there is a visible gap between the walls and the bottom of the keycap, then that's a no. It's a 'true' high profiled board.
This looks great! What will the price be? Any chance for HHKB tops? I would seriously love one in a Crimson Red. You will also have plates for 6.25u/7u spacebars, right?

That is so cool if so!! Could everything Brass be PVD Coated to avoid tarnishing? Clear coats don’t last too long apparently.

Please don't start the GB until after Chinese New Year if you can! Busy time of year for me What surface finish will the brass version have? Will it be polished and ptoteched with a clear coat? Raw untreated brass will tarnish very quickly (and also kinda smells unpleasantly metallic)
