I noticed that on the upgrade order option, there is a $16 shipping charge tagged on, I'm a little confused can you clarify?
The GB has ended. If you need anything please tell me and I will relay that to zFrontier so they could create an invoice for you.

Thank you so much, this is awesome! It is great to be part of this drop! Do you know when the shipping invoice will be sent? Also, could you kindly confirm the build specifications when you send the invoice? I have requested a few changes after placing the order, including case/insert color and changing the default PCB to the QMK PCB. Thank you very much!

Thank you. It will be zFrontier sending the invoice so I don't know. I will tell them tho.

Your PCB has been changed to QMK version. I will get all the order info from zFrontier in the following days. You can PM later to confirm your final specifications.

A lot more Orange75 were sold than I expected. The GB period wasn't long, but I hope it reached to everyone who wanted an Orange series.

I haven't received the final order info from zFrontier. It was 3 for brass version when total number was 48 two days ago.

I know I should ask zFrontier directly but just curious anyone else got tagged with a shipping charge just on the upgrade to brass weight?

What is the difference between the two versions?

32A and 32u4 are all commonly used MCUs on keyboard PCBs.

The 32A version PCB can be easily re-programmed with a software called bootmapper client. bootmapper client has a GUI and is straightforward to use. It can run on Windows OS and OS X.

The 32u4 version PCB can be re-programmed with QMK/TMK. QMK/TMK is an open-sourced code framework written in C/C++. It's more powerful but has a steeper learning curve than bootmapper client. You will have to install a lot of dependency packages on your computer, compile the source codes, and flash the hex file to get the firmware updated. It can be compiled on most Linux distributions, Windows, and OS X.

The 32A version can also be programmed with QMK in theory. I won't bother to port the code tho.

The 32A version we provide in this GB comes with USB mini female connector. The 32u4 version comes with USB Type C female connector. The Type C connector is a little better than mini  on the design perspective in my opinion, not that good you need to throw away a fancy Yarbo cable to get this version tho.

TL; DR: You are a newbie, you are lazy, choose 32A version. You write codes, you are cool, choose 32u4 version.

Most developers would think compiling QMK codes is cooler than just using a software.

Writing codes is skill everyone should try. It's not just about cool. There's a lot of fun as well. :)

Try to learn some niche PLs such as Lisp/Haskell if you haven't yet. At least other people will think you are cool.

I used emacs a while back... now back to Sublime Text. Problem is that I don't use programming that often, easy to forget if you don't always use it...

Will a plate-mounted stab work in this pcb/plate? Or only cherry? Is this what we are supposed to buy: https://kbdfans.cn/collections/keyboard-part/products/cherry-original-pcb-stabilizers

Thank you very much. Trying to stock the stab to prepare for the beauty.

PCB mount stabs. The ones you linked are correct. The spacebar also supports costar stab.

Don't forget to follow Nathan's ultimate guide when you install the stabs.

You choose between two PCB's. One is Type C and Mini for the other.
