We are proud to present the Hubble65 by Mechs & Co. This board was inspired by the Hubble Space Telescope and the revolutionary engineering genius that was achieved by mankind in its design and function. We want the Hubble65 to pay homage to the Hubble Telescope. Consisting of a high quality two piece aluminum body with a drop in brass weight, we wanted to offer an isolation mounted 65% keyboard built with some of the finest materials we could acquire. Manufacturing will be done by Salvun combined with a Wilba PCB offering both solder and hotswap options.

Looks fantastic!!! I love all things outer space. I shouldn't be spending any more money on 65s but to hell with it lol. Only suggestion I would make it to have the engraving changed to interchangeable badges, copper, brass etc. In case people really want the date to pop or to be more subtle. I'm a newbie who was going to get a Tofu, but this honestly is one of the nicest cases i've seen yet. Definitely interested! It ticks all the boxes for me: low typing angle, hot-swap, arrow keys, win key & alu. If the price isn't extortionate (like everything else in the hobby) i'll definitely buy.

Currently there are no plans for a compact without a blocker.

We are happy with the current design and the feedback thus far on the Google form has been in favor of it.

The 1990 is in line with the theme around the Hubble telescope and based on the feedback we've seen so far we won't be changing the top right engraving.

Dates are still up in the air based on a few factors so I don't want to give any numbers yet, however the prototype is being ordered now.

So Navy was part of our original color group but we did limit the colors since this is our first keyboard. Logistically we want to make sure this is a sound process and things go smoothly for everyone as well as make sure we provide a high quality keyboard. BUT .... I love blue and I think it deems a spot in a possible R2 if it happens.

Same goes with the half - plate, anything is possible

No plans to do a leaf spring right now. We had chosen three colors initially because of the logistical purposes for doing more than that.

If there is an R2 expect some more serious color options as well as possibly a change to typing angel if there is enough support.

No plans for custom foam right now but it's a possibility based on sound and other factors. Probably would be more of an R2 thing.
