The purple bottoms here look nothing like what Unforgivable received
Hi p_blaze, just to be clear Unforgivable ordered blue magenta not purple. There's nothing surprising if the color look nothing like what he received. Those two would most likely to be violet purple, but without close up pic I can't tell for sure.

Hi Unforgivable, sorry dude I know there's appears to be some color difference between the prototype and final product. As Puddsy said there's hardly any consistency in anodizing world. I personally warned EVE for providing all these color options. But he insisted to go this way as some of the buyers didn't like the fixed options we initially provided. Not only anodizing inconsistency but also the lighting condition, equipment used for photo can contribute to the color difference. Now I'm not trying to talk myself or EVE out of this, just seeking your understanding of the situation. I'll pass this along to EVE and see what we can do for you.
Stripes were supposed to match the bottom piece, but mine match the top. Anything I can do about that?
Sorry about the mix up. I'll make sure you get those fixed. Invisible stripes aren't as sexy.
Hey Jay, thank you so much for the response. I did order Blue Magenta, but only because it was said the color in the sample matched what Blue Magenta was going to look like, and to follow the labels in the picture. Pool also asked to make sure on Page 4 of this thread.

Is the top case "Blue Magenta" color correctly labeled? The plate color is labeled "Violet Purple" whereas it looks pinkish, rather magenta-ish than purplish.
Shouldn't that be the other way around, violet/purple top and blue magenta plate?
Good point, I just thought about that myself. I chose that combo, so I'm wondering about this too. I would be bummed out with a Magenta board instead of that amazing purple.

Basically the top is blue-ish purple and the plate pink-ish purple
I'd say the pic is pretty close to actual color, so if you are not sure about the color, please always go by the pics. I'm not good at naming the colors as English is my second language.
I think it was just a case of mistranslation (or incorrect labeling), not an anode problem on Eve’s end. Please encourage and praise Eve, as his anode and quality is pretty amazing. Eve did the correct colors, it just seems like the incorrect labels were given to the colors in the sample pictures. It could have been avoided if Purple was actually listed as X shade of purple.

And apologies for the wall of text! I just didn’t want any blame going towards Eve. He did a great job and I hope he continues providing multiple colors. Also not throwing any shade towards you Jay, you also did a great job, like I said I think it was just a translation problem (Incorrect label). Mistakes happen sometimes. Regardless, thank you very much for running the Moon group buy. It’s truly a beautiful board!
