Title: [GB] Padded Poker / 60% Board Carrying Case (Invoicing)
Post by: i3oilermaker on Wed, 24 July 2013, 21:18:10: This is a Group Buy for Padded Poker / 60% Board Carrying Case

The cases are padded, and contain a zipper on top to close. They have been tested with a Poker 1 and Poker 2 and they fit perfectly. I can not gaurantee other 60% boards will fit as perfectly, but if they are the same size as a Poker they will!

good work sir, i was lazy on this, i had them ready for a month or 2 now and was waiting for the right time to launch them, i wont do it now though, just an idea to incorporate into your work, i was gonna offer colored zips or buttons to match keys switch colors, was just a nice touch that may be easy for you to incorporate

I really don't know for sure - it was built for the dimensions of a poker so if the dimensions are the same ore similar it should work.

ok well now that this thread is a thing, i have no interest in competing with i3oiler, this looks like a great service, i wont be making a thread at all now but if someone wants something in a size that isnt avaiable here, feel free to pm me and ill sort that out for you

I like this idea as well! Can we order different fabrics for interior and exterior?

Along the same lines, is there a possibility of requesting some uber-tough exterior fabric, like 1000-denier black nylon, for an additional fee?

Sorry, this is the only option....but I will say, I have a neoprene case for my iPad, and this case feels a lot nicer to the touch.

I'm very interested in the same. Right now, I have a QFR at work, and want a 60% for home use. What I really want is a 60% that I take back and forth, with my QFR as a backup (or take my QFR back and forth) but I got tired of using the retail packaging. I want a case that I can put my keyboard in, and then throw around without having any concern for my keyboard. I can throw my ThinkPad around without any ill effect, without a case, I just want to be able to throw my keyboard in the same bag without my laptop beating it to death in-transit.

Precisely. In the past few days I've thought of an interesting design (well, I think it's interesting, it's nothing fancy though) that I could make out of wood that would hold it tight and protect it without allowing the keys to be depressed in transit. If a professional design could be worked up and made I would definitely buy it right away.

I was strongly considering something like this. Just couldn't find one with a good fit for a QFR. Get the width right, and the depth gets too big.

you could live INSIDE a USPS distribution center and still not get your packages in a timely manner. and they'd still leave you a slip saying you weren't home to sign for it.

I did some digging and did eventually find the email. Gmail decided to automatically sort it into the Promotions tab. :P
