Outside of TP's offtopic, group buys, and interest checks, what does GH offer now? All the OG's left??

I think that a lot of the old guys have settled in with whatever their personal favorite(s) is (are), and aren't really energized to pursue the latest and greatest new thing.
It really does look like Unicomp will put out a new SSK in the next couple of months, that is a big deal for a lot of people.

oOo Holy Panda's love the name, lets get hyper!
Gateron Ink are said to be comparable to Cream.
Gotcha, which Inks are comparable? I see a bunch of different Ink's here..
-
Everyone buys Durock T1 instead of putting together Holy Pandas. Durock also made a counterpart to linear Gateron Inks (if only because they hold grudges against each other).
Switch-mounting plates made of brass, cut with slits (like a living hinge) to be flexible, and mounted between sheets of flexible material such as rubber or Sorbothane for more damping.
QMK firmware sets the norm, and DIY keyboard features get adapted to how QMK's built-in support does it.
Sideglow, RGB backlight and Kailh hot swap-sockets have got mainstream. (Backlight even though nobody uses backlit keycaps, but people want it nonetheless)

I'm glad that LEDs are at least at a point past the "RGB everything cuz im a gamerz" stage. Feels more tame and at least somewhat less gaudy now.

Slits(or 'relief cuts') are also a great improvement to acoustics imho. I'm glad this trend started when it did, because when I started in the hobby I didn't have the means to really make my own sound improving plates/foams/liners/etc. to the quality I'd like.

In general, the feel and price/quality ratio of all the Gateron Inks are thought to be comparable to Cream. So the comparable Inks could be chosen based on switch weight:
NovelKeys Cream - Linear | 4mm travel | 2mm operating | 55g actuation | 70g bottom out
Gateron Black Inks – Linear | 4.0mm travel | 60g Actuation | 70g Bottom Out
Gateron Silent Black Inks – Linear | 4.0mm travel | 60g Actuation | 70g Bottom Out
Gateron Red Inks – Linear | 4.0mm travel | 45g Actuation | 60g Bottom Out
Gateron Yellow Inks – Linear | 3.4mm travel | 60g Actuation | 67g Bottom Out
Gateron Blue Inks – Clicky | 4.0mm travel | 60g Actuation | 70g Bottom Out
